My company had an Old Hollywood Glamor party where they gave out awards and recognition certificates. I was half-channeling Mae West and half-channeling Miss Piggy. Miss Piggy was big on big hats, and I had a wonderful, huge straw hat which I painted black and sewed a feather boa to the rim. I had on fishnet hose and--of course--gloves.

And yes, I did win the costume contest. (Everybody recognized the Mae West influence, but it was the Miss Piggy inspirational touches that really sold it!)

Miss Piggy certainly had glamour down to a T. Suggestive, yet subtile. I will never know why hats went out of fashion...

If at a meeting you hear the phrase 'Movin' Right Along' and you're prompted to sing 'Movin' Right Along, Footloose and Fancy Free.'
I totally did that in my math class last year. Constantly. XD

Ooh! I just thought of some good ones!

~ ... you incorporate a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE Muppet reference into a story that normally would have absolutely nothing to do with Muppets. (I'm gonna replicate the Escher room scene/"Within You" number in my Super Paper mario story as best as possible! XD)
~ ... whenever your math teacher says "Moving right along", you burst into song, resulting in an evilish stare that only math teachers can give.
~ ... you give your Rescue Team on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon a Muppet-related name. Examples include "MuppetNuts"(mine), "PigsnSpace", "Fire Gang"(technically impossible, since you and your partner can't have the same type, so you can't have an all-Fire Rescue Team... I'm rambling again, aren't I?), etc.
~ ... when someone says "That's not fair!", you reply with "You say that so often, I wonder what your basis for comparison is?" (Mom needs to do that with me, maybe I'll stop complaining about unfairness then...)
~ ... if someone says "Muppets are stupid", you karate chop them a la Piggy. (True story. XD)

1. You constantly read Muppet fanfics just to satisfy your muppet cravings.

2. You hang around this forum ;3.

3. Get strange urges to touch a foamy muppet on the head. [I am guilty of that]

4. Try to see the muppeteer's head while watching the muppet movie.

5. You don't acknowledge them as being puppets--instead--you just smile and watch as if they were real celebs. (Hey, they are in a way!)

6. You create your own muppet characters.

7. Attack anyone who says the muppets are "Socks" and go into a spasm.

X3

Lol, I love the muppets.

  1. You find it funny to torture some Muppets. (Floyd makes a good Ziggy Stardust!)
  2. When you do the whole "same story, different characters" fanfic, the story you use is a Muppets story, or the characters are Muppets.
  3. You ship Muppet pairings. (KermitxPiggy, FloydxJanice, GonzoxCamilla)
  4. You have your own characters fall for already existing Muppets (KikitxZoot, MistyxFozzie)

Also obsessed if you adore the least liked of the Muppets--
or atleast in my opinion--Bunsen. You constantly write fics on one character!
Another point!

Hmm...I'm not sure I've seen anyone wearing a hat unless it be a beanie or a cap since decades ago....Can one say "Since decades"?
