So I was sitting in my english class one day thinking about a story I was writing, not listening to my teacher, when it hit me. I am totally insane. Every free moment I get, and some unfree ones, I make up a random story or fantasy in my head. Half my life most be spent in this crazy fantasy world of mine. So I think to myself maybe I'm not the only person who is completely nuts. So I made this list and have decided to share it with you. Many, but not all, of these things apply to me. Tell me what you think and feel free to add your own statements to the list.
(MFH=margins/footers/headers)
You might be an insane author if...
1.You take a notebook with you wherever you go.
2.You never let anyone read from this notebook.
3.You write to-do lists in the MFH.
4.You write grocery lists in the MFH.
5.You write random quotes of the day in the MFH.
6.You have many different ways to spell the same word in the MFH(you
have this so you know you are spelling the word correctly).
7.You draw detailed doodles in the MFH.
8.You list random character names in the MFH.
9.You have brainstorming sessions with friends to come up with character
names.
10.You have conversations with friends about how it would be cool(and
funny) to publish your notebooks as is(with all the notes, lists, etc.
in the MFH).
11.When using a pencil and you make a mistake you scratch it out instead
of erasing it.
12.You shave all the paint off your pencil to get down to the wood.
13.You keep using your pencils until the eraser is completely gone and
the end of the point is butting up against the metal eraser casing.
14.A teacher or friend has ever given you a new pencil because they
can't stand watching you try to write with the aforementioned pencil.
15.Your teachers know you as their "writing student" (and friends you're
their "writing friend").
16.You write your story instead of doing your schoolwork or job.
17.You spend several long hours thinking of different plot lines for
your story.
18.You stay up until the wee hours of the morning writing your story.
19.You write a story down out of order so you most flip back and forth
through the pages to read it.
20.You start writing one story then randomly start another one halfway
through the first. Then change back to the first story several pages
into the second.
21.You know all the names of the authors of your favorite books.
22.You know how to spell all these authors' names(even the most
difficult ones).
23.You know some of these authors personally.
24.You have in dept conversations with these authors about how to write
a good plot line.
25.You read this and you can say "that's me" to more then fifteen of
these statements.
26.You actually do crazier stuff then what's listed here.
I hope you enjoyed this fun list brought to you by
