And in some Animaniacs episodes, Jim served as a Sterling Holloway sounding narrator

To me, he sounded like Pooh when he narrated. XD
Thankfully, despite Darby's appearance, Christopher Robin still sporadically appears (although not as often as he used to, 'cause he is growing up after all).
And what's more, some of the songs from the various films and series--most of which were composed by The Sherman Brothers (although Carly Simon has done a lot of the more recent work)--were merged together in the
Sing Along with Pooh & Piglet (and Tigger) sing-along video compilations (such songs include "Try a Little Something New" from
Welcome to Pooh Corner, "The Floating Song" from
The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and of course
"Winnie the Pooh",
"Heffalumps and Woozles", &
"The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers" from
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh).
Regardless of what happens--as long as they don't totally remove themselves from what made the franchise good in the first place (not counting the
Dora-esque implications in the
My Friends Tigger & Pooh CGI series)--I will always have a spot in my heart for my username-sake that is that "silly ol' bear". ^_^
