Wow, Hal Smith has done more voices than I realized! And I still only remember him as "Otis Campbell" from The Andy Griffith Show.

And I had no Howard Morris did Gopher, too, he's great!
Hey, Snowthy. Here's something that you might find interesting. It's a clip from the Welcome to Pooh Corner series. You get to hear Hal Smith voice Pooh Bear and Owl. Along with Will Ryan as Rabbit and Tigger, Phil Baron as Piglet, and Laurie Main as the narrator.

Lol, that's Hal alright! I remember that show as a little child, though.

As well as Kaa from the Jungle Book. In the Jungle Book 2, Jim Cummings took over the voice of Kaa. And in some Animaniacs episodes, Jim served as a Sterling Holloway sounding narrator.

I don't think that's right. Ron Gans has a deep sounding voice. He voiced Drag Strip in Transformers and Nikolai in Hulk Hogan's Rock N' Wrestling. And I remember in Welcome to Pooh Corner, Kanga had a woman's sounding voice and Roo had the voice of a real little kid. Plus I remember seeing Patty Parris's and Kim Christanson's names in the closing credits of that show.

I think Ron Gans actually voices Eeyore in Pooh Corner. He almost sounds a lot like Nikolai without the Russian accent.

It's all right. In fact, there are a few other sites that seem to have the Pooh Corner voice credits all mixed up.

To me, he sounded like Pooh when he narrated. XD

Thankfully, despite Darby's appearance, Christopher Robin still sporadically appears (although not as often as he used to, 'cause he is growing up after all).

And what's more, some of the songs from the various films and series--most of which were composed by The Sherman Brothers (although Carly Simon has done a lot of the more recent work)--were merged together in the Sing Along with Pooh & Piglet (and Tigger) sing-along video compilations (such songs include "Try a Little Something New" from Welcome to Pooh Corner, "The Floating Song" from The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and of course "Winnie the Pooh", "Heffalumps and Woozles", & "The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers" from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh).

Regardless of what happens--as long as they don't totally remove themselves from what made the franchise good in the first place (not counting the Dora-esque implications in the My Friends Tigger & Pooh CGI series)--I will always have a spot in my heart for my username-sake that is that "silly ol' bear". ^_^

I heard about this rare Pooh story where Christopher Robin grows up and he forgets all about poor Pooh and all of his stuffed animal friends. They say it's a very sad story.
