I dont know, maybe its the 2am talking...but there is something graceful, quiet...dare I say hushed and humble about him. Like I said, he may be the only one who truly knows what's going on.

Is he a groundhog? Or a descendant of a long lost tribe of
mole men? Who knows...but armed with his entrusted mop and humility he marches on to the beat of existence and life. No knowing where he is going...but bereft in the belief that it wont have anything to do with being Piggy's personal baggage handler:wink:

I've written Bo in a few things before. He was in one of my outlines in the Muppet Sports segment (World Staring Championship), where he stares down Link Hogthrob for 67 hours, yet the judges give Zoot (who had been sitting in the audience) the prize because he had been staring into space for 68 hours.

However, I think the best thing I put him in was in Gorgon Heap and my Rex Harrison outline. Rex is sitting in his dressing room and listening to classical music and engages in this dialogue with Bo.

Bo: "Mr. Harrison, may I come in?"

Rex: "By all means, Beauregard! I was just losing myself in Mozart."

Bo: "Uh, where did you want to go?"

Rex: "No no no, I meant I was so caught up in the beauty of this music that I got lost in it."

Bo: "I got lost in Hoboken once. It wasn't fun..."

I think I liked Beau best in the Buddy Rich episode. The Gene Kelly one is among my favorites, but unfortunately, that's also the one where you start thinking Dr. Bob's being mean to him.

"The electrical stuff won't go through the wires! And everyone's blaming me!"
- Beauregard

"Oh, so you're the one who's causing this mess!"
- Buddy Rich
--

"Well, remember how Beauregard pulled out all the wires and got a big shock?"
- Scooter

"Er, yeah."
- Kermit

"Well, I just put two and two together, and..."
- Scooter

(Beau enters with lightbulb in mouth)

"Beau! Is he alright?"
-Kermit

"Sure! I think he got a real charge out of it! Hahahaha!"
- Scooter

"Er, are you alright, Beau?"
- Kermit

"I'm fine!"
- Beauregard

(lightbulb falls out of his mouth and all goes dark)

"Did I do something wrong?"
- Beauregard

Oh, come on! Those were actually some of the few times picking on Beauregard was funny! Probably because it was the guest star in the first one.

Here's another Vet's Hospital where, surprise surprise, they DID NOT pick on Beau:

(Dr. Bob comes up with a miners hat and pick)

"Dr. Bob! You can't use a pick on the patient!"
- Nurse Piggy
"I can on the patients pocket! Now, where is he?"
- Dr. Bob
"Right here, Dr. Bob. He was trying to fix the lights when he got a severe shock!"
- Nurse Janice
"When he sees who his Doctor is, he'll get another one."
- Piggy
"Noooo, not that! He's had ten-thousand volts!"
- Janice
"Oh, good! That should be enough to get him elected!"
- Dr. Bob
"Noooooooo, not Votes! Volts!"
- Janice
"Oh, well then, run some volts through him again!"
- Dr. Bob
"Again???????"
- Piggy & Janice
"Yes! It's called 'Re-volting!'"
- Dr. Bob
"It certainly is!"
- Piggy and Janice
"And now, we come to the end of another Veterinarian's Hospital. Tune in next week when you'll hear Dr. Bob say..."
- Announcer
"If the light's still out when the patient comes to, give him this."
- Dr. Bob
"What? That's a ball-point pen with a little light on it!"
- Piggy
"Yes! it's so he can see to sign a check!"
- Dr. Bob

See, they didn't pick on him. Mainly because he was asleep.

Aw, I know this thread is 3 years old, but HAVE to say it! I do like Gardlet! Especially since the day I saw how thick he was... :stick_out_tongue:

>Effralyo: I adore to bounce on him! Wheeeeeeeeeee - SBOWWWWWWWWWWN!<

...um, and how furry. He seems to have a lucky belly! *Nudges Beau slightly for luck* -I don't mean you, Matt, I mean the real Gard. Well, though I'd never seen TMS with my eyes, here's what do I think! :flirt:

My fave scene with Beau is in the Elke Sommer episode:

Kermit (to Beau & Beaker): You two are going to build a set for Elke's closing number.

Beau: Oh sure. What kind of number is it?

Kermit: Its a spectacular tribute to Ancient Egypt so the
set has to really be impressive.

Beau: Oh, you come to the right people

Kermit: I want a Royal Barge, a Sphinx and dont forget the pyramids.

Beau: Oh sure pyramids. But which shape do you want em?

Kermit: What shape? We're up the Nile without a paddle.

Beau: But we got a paddle. Look. (holds up a paddle)
