who remembers that character on Sesame Street that wasn't a muppet OR a person, it was just a VOICE. like an announcer. almost like GOD!!! he'd talk and everyone would look around wondering where the voice came from. does anyone remember that?

In the Gene Kelly Episode you see the Announcer for VH fall from the ceiling. (Then in PIS Link is talking to him.)

Well, Jerry Nelson usually does announcer voices, so I know it was him on TMS. I really don't remember it on SS though.

no, you guys don't understand i'm POSSITIVE it was on Sesame Street. I remember seeing it when i was 2 or 3 (i don't even think i'd have heard of the muppet show yet) and Oscar and Gina were in the scene too.
