Let me just say this.

Archive.org is such a complete joke now and am never joining that site ever again.

Well, I mean, sorry to break it to ya but that’s the internet. Nothing is safe from copyright claims if said material is posted against the original copyright holders. If you love something and don’t want to lose it, you should download it ASAP.

That's what I did with the Home Improvement television recordings.

So, I’m going to be honest. I’m so ******* ready to ghost my parents for awhile after I move out. I’m sorry, but I just really need some space from them. I’m going to be honest - their views of life really bug me to no end from time to time. Like, there are days I just feel like when their mind is set to something, they don’t take the time to even think about it. Just set their minds and jump to conclusions. Well, I’ve just had it honestly. I’m ghosting them for at least 6 months.
I know it’s rough. I moved out when I was 19 because I couldn’t stand my father and his drinking. And once I went a whole year without talking to him.
But staying mad at my dad didn’t do me any good, and staying mad at your folks won’t help you either.
If you can move out, and put a little distance between you and them, that’s a plus. I always felt the sooner anyone can leave home and strike out on their own, the better.
But don’t take your anger with you.
We all go through a phase where we’re young and think we know everything and our parents know nothing. That was me at 18. I had a LOT to learn.
If you can move out, I’d help you pack.

@fuzzygobo I appreciate you understanding where I'm coming from. By no means am I going to hold a grudge against them forever. I just feel the need to let my mind just give myself time away from them for awhile and breathe once I settle into my new environment when the time comes. This moving **** with re-decorating the house constantly has just caused some tension for all of us and well, I think it's only fair we just give each other our space once we go our separate ways. Once my mind is healed, they're more than welcome to reach out to me again.

I'm always astonished at people who were able to move out at 18... is it literally just living in the smallest rent of an apartment, paycheck to paycheck?

I feel like this was more commonplace during fuzzy's day, but I'm sure it still happens today.
