That is so disturbing, that is like something Hitler or Kim Jong Un would do, silencing anyone who dares speak out against their "Dear leader". Trump also says he wants to expel Whoopi Goldberg and several other celebrities just because they don't like him. Seriously, this guy wants to be a freaking DICTATOR, plain and simple.
And the uneducated poor people are letting him do it, which is why Tump loves them so much.

Thing of it is, these celebrities are saying they will voluntarily leave the country should Trump win, and since so many (educated) people dislike him so much, Canada has actually opened up an island up in Nova Scotia specifically for American refugees who will choose to flee Trump's tyranny.

But really, why just compare Trump alone to the likes of Hitler and other historical dictators? That's essentially what that entire political party is like: notice how they only care about one group of people, and that's the wealthy. Working and middle class Americans are essentially to them what the Jews were to the Nazis. Maybe not the best way to put it, but hear me out on this: the Nazis always blamed the Jews for all the problems of the world, even though the Jews did nothing to them . . . in this case, the far right always blames working and middle class Americans for all the financial problems we have in this country when the working and middle class had nothing to do with any of it. Seriously, I get sick of listening to blow-hards, like my dad (and like he should talk, because we've been a working class family since the recession that happened just weeks after I was born), who are always spouting out about, "if these people would just get off their lazy @$$es and get jobs, that'd solve all our problems right there." The problem being . . . there aren't a whole lot of decent jobs out there. Heck, my cousin was discharged from the Marines almost a year ago, and he just got a job within the last month or two in his field. Heck, look at own vettech: how many years has she been trying to break into her chosen career field?

And another thing that's bothersome too: we, as working and middle class citizens, are faced with all the hardships that none of these rightwing politicians have ever had the displeasure of dealing for themselves: living paycheck-to-paycheck, having to decide between feeding yourself or keeping the power on, sometimes having to get a little extra help from food pantries and poor houses, falling behind on bills, facing possibilities of things like repo or eviction . . . and the right dares to call us "bleedin' hearts" because of it? When you face and deal with hardships, it's, uh, kind of hard not to complain about it.

Intolerance is not good for anybody. But some of the anti-Trump protestors aren't much better, having ten-year-olds shouting "F*** Trump!" and giving the finger. How can they be taking a higher moral ground when they're stooping to his level? Two wrongs don't make a right.

The problem with that is, unfortunately, there's a mentality among today's society that because we're now living in the twenty-first century, that somehow means any form of values or morality is "outdated." I'm not kidding, that's exactly how people justify the irresponsible, reckless, and indecent decisions they make in their lives today: "we're living in the twenty-first century now, we don't have to abide by outdated principles anymore."

They seem perfectly fine with it. As far as they're concern, decent people with moral compasses are living in another world and need to wake up and catch up with the times.

Ugh. The far right is playing the victim again! This time, they're crying that Facebook is being biased and pandering only to the left in terms of trending news and such . . . which is odd, because I see D'ump trending more than any other political candidate out there.

But seriously? I'm getting sick of them always out on the attack of everybody, then they cry like little witches and say they're the ones being attacking by everyone else.

I'd say far more like Kim Jong Un or that guy who's now the leader of the Philippines than Hitler outright. His type is frighteningly more common in the world as a dictator than we think. Frankly, I'm faaaar more frightened by his followers than him personally. Like I said hundreds of times before, he's an empty suit who's disturbingly insecure about himself. He sued people for reporting fact that didn't line up with his press releases. He doesn't so much hold grudges so much as he clenches them tightly until they dig into his hands' skin and start cutting through the flesh, with blood seeping out. And as for the fact he's the most "authentic" of all the GOP candidates, that's the biggest load. His entire platform is essentially say things terrible people want to hear, play off their paranoia, and let the crazy spread to the more reasonable types through osmosis. It's not even new points. We've always had problem with illegal immigration. It's older than half the folks that want to vote for him solely to punish youngsters for not being born old. It's just the same polarizing, xenophobic crap that the right should have abandoned long ago, but are too afraid to do anything about because they'd lose those talking heads and those votes to a third party.

And he's still better than Ted Cruz. Imagine worse and serious. I could get on the rant about the entire field of GOP hopefuls, but they're the same menagerie they brought out last time. The minority and or woman candidate they pick to say "we're not racists (sexist), you are because you don't like them" that are almost overcompensatingly further to the right. The business person because a business person could run the country like a business who ran their own business into the ground. The really wealthy guy that doesn't exactly understand what poor people are, despite the fact they're the ones voting for him, the actually reasonable one that wouldn't be terrible that gets kicked out for being relatively liberal (because why get a candidate that actually speaks to more middle minded people and has a mild temperament?)...just the same stock characters every single time.

But some of the anti-Trump protestors aren't much better, having ten-year-olds shouting "F*** Trump!" and giving the finger. How can they be taking a higher moral ground when they're stooping to his level? Two wrongs don't make a right.
I'm going to agree. Yeah you could write a War and Peace sized book about how, even a-politically, Trump is screwed up and his followers wouldn't change their hearts and minds. So yeah, way to help make them look like the victims. Let him unravel himself and leave the nuts that love him alone. Those type of people usually wind up being their own undoing. Sit back and enjoy the crapstorm that happened to their party. Protesting isn't going to do a darn thing. He's not going to drop out of the race saying "this isn't worth it to be hated by so many people at the expense of being beloved by a terrible, vocal minority." His followers aren't going to say "Ugh...this is what we've become? Maybe we should sit out every election and not let our bitterness and misplaced anger ravage the country."

Ugh. The far right is playing the victim again! This time, they're crying that Facebook is being biased and pandering only to the left in terms of trending news and such . . . which is odd, because I see D'ump trending more than any other political candidate out there.

I mentioned this in the Roll your Eyes thread

I totally believe that no one plays the victim like the far right. That's because of the huge amount of press, media manipulation, and social media agreeing they can pull off. It's manufactured by the condescending rich Neo-Con types who think less of working class conservatives than liberals do.

But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. If this really is true, yeah...good job giving them ammunition to fuel their conspiracy theories. But even if Facebook wants to make amends, they're picking an Awful cast of characters to admit something that's only possibly true but in the "pfft who cares?" way (it's Newsfeed. It's all "You won't guess what color cupcakes Disney Princesses would eat." crap). But admitting "we're wrong" to Glenn Beck? Seriously. The heck with him. He's a medicine man. A con-artist. Heck, his views pretty much created Donald Trump. And yet he went apescat because Ted Cruz wasn't the soon to be dictator. That's the equivilant if Facebook had a Right Wing bias, he had to sit down with a militant vegan eco-terrorist. I'm not saying all voices shouldn't be at the table, but some deserve to sit at the kiddy table so they can crap their pants without getting it on anyone else.

What I want to know is why action is being taken over there supposedly being too much Democratic trends on Facebook (which there isn't), but nothing's being done about every single froggin' insignificant thing any of the Kardashians do trends? I mean, I could care less about Bruclyn Jenner taking a dump in Trump Tower, or Kylie (or Kendall, or who the Elmo ever) scratching her leg, why should any of that stuff be trending all the time?

This whole Democrat Facebook trends thing is really stupid. I'm pretty sure the trends have nothing to do with the website's staff's personal preferences, it's about what the users are talking about. It sounds to me that the conservatives just can't except the fact that the country is becoming more and more liberal. Besides, the republican's talk about Democratic issues just as much as the Democrats do, so clearly this is everybody's fault.
