I thorw around the term ' gay ' as well, and so do most of the people I work with. Depending on the situation most of the time it's just a slang word that most people use especially teeagers. lol Whenever my day sucks I would say ' THIS IS GAY! ' And for the reminder of the day everything was gay no matter what it was lol. If peoople get offended then oh well it's their problum. Dosen't mean I have anything agunst gay people.

Yes, but you must understand how some people in the gay community might be offended by it. In that case, you are basically comparing things that suck or are stupid to homosexuals. That's just my opinion. I think it's pretty sad how that word has been misused in the last 10 years. As a straight person, it even offends me. Ah well...ce la vie!

Zelda, I know. See my PM. I was not blaming you personally. I was just putting forth my thoughts on the subject too and your was just the first one I picked to quote. I, by no means, meant to point a finger at you saying you are an awful person and I'm sorry if it came across like that. I was just trying to explain how people may find it offensive is all.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, Bear. Yes, I admit to using the word in a slang-ish way, and being part of the gay community for a number of years back in the 90's I can certainly see how it would offend some. It depends on the individual and the situation.
