O.K. So The Count and I have been discussing over ideas we both have for the Ghostbusters/Muppets story, and we both have some very intriguing stuff to bring to the table.

We both believe it'll be interesting to write characters out of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy into the story, having them replace the ones I'd intended on including from Danny Phantom.

Also, on my end of the development process, I'm undergoing changes for my female version of the team, considering replacements for Christina and Keira. Jessica and Miranda are still intended on being on the team, but depending on who I find, their roles could switch.

Okay. So I've changed the members of the new, all-female Ghostbusters team in my "Stranger Than..." story. I've taken out Christina Renee and Keira Sky, and this is what resulted:

Jessica Lauren - The Counterpart of Peter Venkman (Bill Murray's character)

Hayley Michaels - The Counterpart of Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis's character)

Stephanie - The Counterpart of Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd's character)

Miranda - The Counterpart of Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson's character)

I feel that these are the right girls for the roles, because I see an opportunity to compare Hayley's taste for M&Ms with Egon's taste for Twinkies (as seen in the movie) and use Stephanie's spunky attitude for Ray's similiar, over-excited one.

Jessica and Miranda still remain the same, because I just feel those roles are right for them.

The story is still scheduled to be posted on the boards around March of next year.

Two updates for the day:

First, I've been scheduling Christmastime to be the perfect time to get back to my "Legends of Disney" series. However, when I get back to it, I plan on restarting the series altogether, so that it would suit this forum a little better. For those who haven't read it back when it was still a fresh idea, the fanfic series was originally intended for a Disney-based forum, but now I'm going to go back to the first few chapters I've written so far and revise them, so that it appears more Muppet-based than Disney-based. And I'm also omitting Christina Renee's character, so that there's more of a focus on the relationship between my character in the series and Jen Natsumi's character.

Secondly, I've chosen Hayley Michaels to be my character's sister in "Sesame, DC" instead of Miss Melissa Ann (who's still planned to be written as a character for just "MARVELOUS Mini's"). She'll be joining the friend who I mentioned from MySpace that is now on Muppet Central, who is also going to be my character's sister in "Sesame, DC". These girls are both the same age, which I believe will serve as a great opportunity to develop twin characters (not identical, but fraternal).

In case you're wondering who this other friend of mine is, search for the name "GelflingGirl92" in the members list.

Three updates today for the Muppets/Ghostbusters story....

I decided on going back on the idea of having an all-female Ghostbusters team by eliminating the "Miranda Thomas" character. Instead, I'm going to write my "Sean Thomas" character as the counterpart to Winston Zeddemore in the tale.

So the line-up for the human side of the team is now....

Jessica Lauren (Peter Venkman)
Hayley Michaels (Egon Spengler)
Stephanie (Ray Stantz)
Sean Thomas (Winston Zeddemore)

Also...Instead of titling this story as just "Ghostbusters", I'm going to give it the title, "Who Ya Gonna Call?", because I have a feeling this story might spawn a sequel.

And lastly....

Instead of having Rizzo join Kermit, Fozzie, and Gonzo on the Muppet side of the team, I decided to go with Scooter as the fourth member, while having Rizzo and some other rat characters to be the team's resident sidekicks.

Made some more changes and cutbacks for characters based on MySpace friends today....

Most I had made regarded who I decided to be in "Sesame, DC". Lately, I've been focusing on who would seem right for the series and have been coming up with a lot of names. I've decided on Christina Renee (who has been written out of both my upcoming "Ghostbusters" story and the soon-to-be-revised "Legends of Disney") will replace GelflingGirl92 as my character's sister, while GelflingGirl92's character will be just a friend and reporter from The Daily Planet who works with Christina and has a mysterious background. Characters who I had reserved for Jessica Lauren, Stephanie, and Rabecca Lee have been removed on account of there being too many friends involved in this one series.

The changes I made for "Sesame, DC" lead to my decision of writing Jessica and Stephanie for only the Muppets/Ghostbusters crossover and its possible sequel.

Other than all this, I think I've got myself organized enough to write these girls into their respective stories for next year.

Two updates that I have for today regard the Ghostbusters/Muppets story and "The Silver Crystal" (the second F4/Muppets crossover)....

For "Who Ya Gonna Call?", I talked with Stephanie last week and she wouldn't mind for her character's last name in the story to be "Rogers". In normal GB fashion, the team always refer to each other by their last names (they're even labeled on their flightsuits), so I needed a last name for Stephanie's character to complete the human part of the team. The Muppet part won't be so bad, since Frog, Bear, and Grosse have already been assessed, though "Great" will have to be settled for Gonzo.

Meanwhile, on my upcoming return to the "Silver Crystal" story....

I decided to write my MySpace friend Wendy Rider and her antagonizing, scheming reporter character into the story, starting from next chapter, when I get back to it during my Christmas break from college. The reason for this is that there is a character from the Avatar: The Last Airbender half of the story that I'm relating to hers--I feel this would be a good way of introducing her character to the series.

I've been thinking long and hard about the decisions I have made for "Who Ya Gonna Call?" and the "Sesame, DC" series. So I'm 100% absolutely certain that what I'm deciding on now will be my final decisions.

For "Who Ya Gonna Call?", I'm going to have both me and Miranda (my original choice to be Winston Zeddemore's counterpart) share two different versions of the same GB member in the story, turning this human side of the team from a foursome to a fivesome. Both Miranda's character and my character will be siblings and average citizens accepting jobs as Ghostbusters.

And for "Sesame, DC", I've thought about going with my marvelous friend Alissa Brown as my second oldest sister rather than Christina Renee (who would've been my younger sister). This would be a wise choice, seeing as how the character role was going to GelflingGirl92, who I'd assured would be the "Alissa Brown of Sesame, DC" before providing her with a different role that would stray from that concept. Now it'll save me the trouble, since I have the Alissa Brown in the series.

If anyone can remember from the early part of October, I'd considered Alissa to be in "Sesame, DC" before changing my mind. It looks like now I'm going to fulfill that promise after all.

Well... Just one problem with that. Not sure if this applies to all of Sesame/DC, but remember The Gotham Grouchfest, the crossover for Batman Begins? Hate to throw this monkeywrench, but in that one, you told us that Alissa Brown, sister to Detective Sean Thomas, had been killed. So unless you plan to pull off some Marvelous revival scheme... Tell ya what, if you need it, I can let you borrow the developments I had planned for her for my Batman/Muppets/HP crossover. Just PM or Email if interested. Hope this helps somewhat and take care buddy.
