There is an episode of Dinosaurs called “A New Leaf”. Robbie discovers the joys of a certain “happy plant”. This episode was custom made for me.

What is the point in New Years resolutions and New Years? Why bother setting them if you aren't going to fulfill them? We as a society should be evolving mentally and physically. The years as they progress should be getting better and not worse.

It’s a matter of discipline and commitment.. Every New Year people vow they’ll hit the gym, eat better, lose weight, the whole deal. January 2 gyms are full. By the end of the month, 90% quit.
Super Bowl Sunday rolls around, and people go back to their old bad habits.
I’m as guilty as everyone else. So I can’t point fingers.
Trouble is, many people think losing weight will be easy. And when people don’t see results right away, they give up.

I admire my best friend from high school. He always committed to hitting the gym every other day, working out pumping weights, eating good, and in a few years he had an incredibly sculpted body. He never took steroids, but he was unbelievably strong and his biceps were ripped. It didn’t happen overnight but he kept at it for five years.
My friend Ken is 54 now, and he’s still in tremendous shape.

I mean, my whole thing is why wait for an imaginary date? If you want change, do it now.
