I’d never participate in them anyway. I can’t stand dealing with large crowds for too too long.
I’ve been to enough concerts and baseball and football games with crowds of fifty thousand or more. That’s not bad until you have to get to a bathroom or something to eat. Then you have to be careful stepping over people. Same thing in the movie theater. The size of the crowd doesn’t bother me, but the seats are too close together.

See I don’t mind going to sports events but I really dislike going to live concerts. Mainly because I find I have a lot of trouble going to sleep afterwards from all that energy and hype, plus all the ignorant people who are pretty much trashed and getting in your space constantly.

That’s part and parcel at concerts. But I’ve been at a number of football games when things got out of hand in the stands. Fifty thousand spectators ranked up on beer ( I never stripped or painted myself). All it takes is for the referee to make one bad call, and you have a riot.

Oh yeah, those guys are obnoxious. By that point you may as well just leave.

New Year’s Eve in Times Square is overrated. I’ve never been there ion New Year’s Eve, but I have been at the spot where the ball drops. The intersection of Broadway and 7th Avenue.
To get the best spot, people arrive a day or so early and claim their patch of ground.
Once you’re there, you stay there. Once more people arrive, you’re stuck in your spot. Good luck trying to leave to get to a bathroom.

Only the people close to the ball have a good view. The further away you are, the less you can see. And a million people crammed into an area of five blocks, you better not be claustrophobic.
Then you’re at the mercy of the weather. Usually it’s freezing. And with all the tall buildings in New York, the wind can be brutal.
Then five minutes after midnight, there’s a big stampede of a million people leaving, to get to the trains or buses. If you’re lucky enough to find a hotel room in Manhattan, get ready to pay through the nose.
You’re much better off watching at home on tv.
Always wanted to go there in person since I live an 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Times Square to my parents' apartment. But like you said it's better to watch at home and not deal with the headaches.

You remember that nursery rhyme when you were little?

This little piggy went to market.
This little piggy stayed home.
This little piggy had roast beef.

Stop right there. I know pigs will eat practically anything- including garbage.
Anything to fatten them up so we can eat THEM.
But pigs aren’t the carnivorous type.

It must suck to be a pig. Getting fed so they can slaughter you and use up every part of you.
Different sections of the pig go into making ham, bacon, sausage, ribs, pork loins, even pickled pig’s feet.
I even have a pig’s valve in my heart. Some piggy gave his life so my heart can still beat.
For diabetics like me, insulin used to come from pigs too.

So maybe letting the piggy have roast beef ain’t so bad. His last meal before he becomes a meal for everybody else.

If there ever was a part of my life from the past I wish I could get back and do over, it would be from Friday, December 18, 2009, to about the summer of 2017.

I’m a man (well, almost), who feels he acts like a girl and enjoys it.
I’ve never felt like a wanted to be a woman, nor have I ever felt attracted to other men.
With the 2 obvious options out of the way, what the heck am I?
