Uh...I have what's known as an OCD...Obsessive Compulsive Disorder...you may have heard of it. Seriously. I try to keep it under control so I don't get medicated again, but I'm obsessed with some things that I probably shouldn't be, like cupboards, drawers, bookshelves, sniffing books to determine their age...

Beyond that stuff, though, I have some pretty normal geeky ones:

Muppets (mostly Sesame Street and Muppet Show)
Star Wars
Star Trek
DC Comics
Calvin & Hobbes
Fisher Price Little People (that OCD again...)
Lego

...let's stop the list here.

Heh, yeah I know all about that. I dont have any physical/ritual compulsions, its all mental. I have a friend that is sometimes almost cripled with OCD at times(having to move chairs, excessively dust, count, etc) So yeah, I know *alll* about that. My current OCD is tripping off of just stupid crap I read on forums(reading/posting on all sorts of entertainment/media forums seems to be like my job these days) by people for some reason...
um...I think Im just plain **** depressed a lot of the time.

anyways, Ive pretty much been into the same stuff since the early 80's...Muppets, anime, video games, comics, star wars(though not as much since Episode One came out) action figures, Transformers(again, not as much), cartoons, etc. YEah I know, two decades later and the same hobbies. Ive seriously been collecting Muppet figures for a couple decades...about 20 years before the Palisades ones came out to be exact(hey Im not old!!! Ok I trun 25 in a few hours, but still...)

These days my main passions...well its pretty much trying to get this darn webcomic site launched.

But hobbies:

muppets and all things JHC
anime
video games
film(I would say Im arguably one of the biggest film buffs next t Harry Knowles or Ebert on the internet...ok maybe thats a stretch, but its pretty prolific and wide ranging:wink:)
electronic/orchestral/soundtracky music
comics

Matt's Obsession List:

1) Mystery Science Theater 3000
2) Jim Henson and The Muppets. Fraggle Rock especially.
3) The WHO
4) Rap Music (underground stuff...especially GZA)
5) Star Wars (pseudo-fanboy, especially when it comes to the comic books)
6) Animation and puppetry in general.

Eh...I think thats about it, for now.
