Dining hall is still closed. Boil order in effect until further notice. There has been no further notice.

But it's okay! To make up for all the trouble, each resident has been provided with two free bottles of Dasani water.

Oh, and I was mistaken when I said that the water is okay for washing dishes. The sign on the door makes no mention of dishes, and says not to consume the water, so... I'm thinking I'll stick to washing with bottled stuff. But I don't have too many dishes to wash, so I'm not sure how much it really matters anyway.

Edit: Waaaait... My roommate is looking online, and according to the health department, we're NOT supposed to shower or wash hands with this water. It says to "avoid exposure." So... ? I don't GET it! Blargh...

Edit #2: WAAAAAAIT! THERE HAS BEEN FURTHER NOTICE! The boil order has been LIFTED! Water is safe to DRINK, therefore safe for showers, handwashing, dishwashing, clotheswashing, etc. etc. etc. YAY! And the dining hall should reopen at two o'clock. So... No lunch from there, but... Dinner! YAY!
