Watching Muppet Christmas Movies

yeh that sucked the way the ghosts werent actual muppets.

I believe Brian said in the commentary track that the original plan was for existing muppet characters to play the 3 ghosts(I think he mentioned Gonzo as the Ghost of Christmas Future). But somewhere along the way, they decided to create original characters.

My brother in law borrowed Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas so I didn't get to watch it this season But that's okay 'cause I watch it all throughout the year!
I do have a tradition to watch a MFC every year and this year was no different! Here's something though that always bothered me;
When Kernit and Robin find the Fraggle hole, doesn't Gobo look really scary and like he's going to kill the two frogs!? Then he just snaps out of it, and is like; "Hiya!" I think he may have been commissioned by the government to kill them, I saw a copy of "Catcher in the Rye" in his pocket...
