I watched The Muppet Christmas Carol this morning on, um , the Hallmark Channel.
Ya know, each time I watch that movie, I just love it more...really need that DVD.
Michael is just incredible. He's performance is so powerful and his emotions.
:flirt: And what a lovely singing voice!
The whole movie is excellent. They really did it well.

I often wonder what Jim Henson would of thought of it...

Whatever said:
Nephew Fred is with his wife Clara.
I love the extensive use of Sprocket in MCC.
It was freezing rain here lately and My family is making wide use of the phrase "Watch out for the icy patch!"
Sorry, I should have been cleaerer. I meant the other man, and what was the actors name?

Also,

WHo is the creature sitting on one of the rooves at teh begining, eating something? It is also in Treasure Island doing the same thing. It looks like a msll kind of crab with no shell. Do you know what it is?

Oh, but there must be a significance if it is there in roughly the same position in MTI. Who? Why? What for? And when?

Wait, I already know when.

Also, is there a significance in the fact that the two first ghosts were Statler (Note I spell the name correctly for the first tiem ever) and Waldorf, previously voiced by Richard Hunt and Jim Henson?

No. I am serious. Is that why they were chosen? Or just for a laugh?

Ok beau, think about it.
Statler and waldorf are
1. old= ghosts are dead
2. nasty= Marley and marley are nasty characters
3.who else would they have chosen for marley and marley?

That's something that irritates me about MCC. You see, for Marley (and Marley) they used Statler and Waldorf; while the other 3 ghosts weren't actual muppets previously. I think Beauregard and Uncle Deadly could have played Present and Future quite well!!
