Our office computers use IE and we can't download any other programs. Hmph. Well, it's THEIR computers not mine!! Thanks for the notice!! I'm going to email a link to that article to the company.

In the meantime it might be as well to avoid typing any sensitive information into the machine :smile:

IE isn't any good, anyway... I've been using Firefox for quite a while now. The second I found out about all the adblocking stuff it had, I was sold. :flirt:

Indeed. But as long as the average user is content to use IE, problems like this will continue to arise.

Of course, if everyone switched over to say Opera, we'd doubtless be plagued by Opera hacks...

If you want to check whether your PC has been infected:

- Click the Start button and then click on Search
- Make sure you choose the option to look through all files and folders
- Search for files called Kk32.dll and Surf.dat
- If infected use up to date anti-virus software to remove the malicious code
