The Lost Visuals - Volume 1

Every visual you've seen starts with an idea. Sometimes the idea is well though out, planned, tested and well researched. Sometimes the idea is inspired from a picture and develops itself. Sometimes a visual is created just from fooling around and then BAM, there it is. Not every idea makes the cut though. Sometimes the idea isn't working and needs to go in another direction, sometimes it's just not feasible or even worth completing, and sometimes it just turns out to not work the way it was desired to. This week's visual is dedicated to those visuals as we take a look at just some of the many visuals that never made the cut.

Muppet Central Morsels
• All but the "Photoshop Animal", were visuals created last year for VRWCMV's initial run.
• The Cookie Monster visual was "touched-up" recently for it's appearance in this visual, receiving shading and highlights.
• As mentioned in the visual, "Role Reversal" eventually became "The Muppet*eers", but the actual file name for "The Muppet*eers" is "role-reversal2.psd"

First off....my email for the MC show will be in your inbox...sometime next week. Secondly, I love this. Actually, I just love the photoshop Animal...(and the rest is really great!) Is there anyway I can get a file of just the Animal head? He'd make a great desktop pic!

Wow...the Cookie's hand reaching for the cookie was/is an amazing visual effect! I simply adore it...wow...

The green Gonzo made me laugh, and Bert performing Frank was most disturbing yet hilarious.

Well done for creating Animal, and I'm sorry he didn't work out. But what about black and white? Would he work better in a tribal-frog sort of way?

Hey Dave! This was actually really neat. I liked seeing some of the ideas you had that just didn't work out for one reason or another. I really liked the Gonzos alot. Anyway, I'll be sending my picture hopefully sometime this weekend for Muppet Central Show 2 and I'm still anxiously awaiting order information for the Muppet Family Gathering visual!

Great job as usual, looking forward to next week!

These are so awesome Dave!!! I especially love the patchwork Kermit, and Photoshop Animal!

Oh, is that Green Wierdo any relation to Fozz and Kerms' Dad from GMC?

Love it, as always.

Love it, Dave. Great chronology of things that could've been. I hope the Gonzo idea makes it through one day, though. Would be cool!

Personally, I really like the idea of muppets preforming muppeteers; so evil yet funny!
About the MFG picture, does your anouncement mean they all have been made already? I just sent my e-mail, in which I said I would like to order one? Did you get it, and will I be able to order?

You never fail to impress Vic! The Kermit-Gonzo looked realistic! I especially liked the walk through you gave us. Thanks!
