A Muppet Family Gathering

The long awaited visuals have returned! And from the hype of it all, you'd think it was the second coming! But, er, not of the visuals of… well you know. So such a big "to do" deserves a BIG first visual. How big? How about a visual that's been a year in the making, consists of over 50 illustrated Muppets from almost every Jim Henson world, photos of seventeen Muppeteers, and stretches just over seven feet long!? You've seen the teasers, you've waited for months and you asked for it, so without further adieu; this week's visual:

And just so you're not confused, the dinner guests from left to right are: The Swedish Chef, Hoggle (from "Labyrinth"), Zoot, Lips, Waldorf, Oscar the Grouch, a Doozer, Statler, Pops, Telly, Boober Fraggle, another Doozer, Rizzo the Rat, Sweetums, Waldo C. Graphic (from "The Jim Henson Hour" and "Muppet Vision 3D"), Beauregard, Grover, Cotterpin Doozer, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, The Count, Beaker, Mokey Fraggle, Link Hogthrob, PePe the King Prawn, Guy Smiley, The Muppet Newsman, Gobo Fraggle, Dr. Teeth, SkekEkt Skeksis the Ornamentalist (from "The Dark Crystal"), Wembley Fraggle, yet another Doozer, Digit (from "The Jim Henson Hour"), Elmo, Floyd Pepper, Janice, Rowlf the Dog, Cookie Monster, Animal, Mr. Snuffleupagus, the Great Gonzo, Sam the American Eagle, Bert, Ernie, Bear (from "Bear In The Big Blue House"), Robin the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Red Fraggle, Scooter, Skeeter, Ms. Piggy and of course… Kermit the Frog.

Muppet Central Morsels
Because VRWCMV has watchers at Deviant Art but are created for Muppet Central, here are some tidbits exclusive to MC that will be posted with every visual!

• The original high resolution Photoshop file was over 196 megs!
• Despite the fact that the Chef is about to serve a huge turkey dinner, there's no dining ware!
• Several Muppets have drinks, all are alcoholic: PePe is drinking a Martini, Rowlf is drinking a beer, Snuffy has a Mojito, and Piggy is drinking a white wine.
• Look closely at the wallpaper's design!​

The Muppet Central Show – SEASON 2!
It's official! The Muppet Central Show will debut again thanks to the huge interest for another one which will debut on Friday, January 26, 2007! Here's what you HAVE to do if you'd like to be a part:
• PM or e-mail Vic Romano at the all new Visuals e-mail address at vicromano_mc@yahoo.com simply stating that you will be a part of the visuals by FRIDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2006.
• Shortly after, e-mail your picture to the all new Visuals e-mail address at vicromano_mc@yahoo.com by FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2006.

* If you already appeared in the first Muppet Central Show, that's okay! You can still appear and are very much welcomed to appear in this one again too!
* Pictures must be at least 4" x 6" or 288 pixels wide by 432 pixels high.
* Pictures must be of users body from at least the waist up, from knees up are preferred.
* Pictures must NOT crop any part of the head, hands or arms.
* "Creative poses" that include full body shots or more then the specified area can be negotiated and are welcome.
* Pictures must be taken with either a digital camera, or scanned from a film camera. NO WEBCAMS!
* "Representations of users", such as a puppet or illustration may be considered but will be strictly limited.
* Inclusion of a puppet, Muppet plush or prop are encouraged and welcomed.
* Vic Romano reserves the right to decline the acceptance of any picture, however a reason will be issued along with the chance to receive a different picture as long as it is within the pre-designated time frame.

COMPLETE LISTING OF ENTRY RULES FOR THE MC SHOW SEASON 2
Show Us Who You Are!
Your photo should be a recent photo, not a baby photo or a photo from when you went on vacation 3 years ago. This is the 21st century! So grab a camera, shoot yourself and get it online! Having said that, the photo needs to be of you, and not someone else you want to convince us you are. So for example if you're really 16-years-old but you're posing as a 77-year old man, this project ain't for you.

Express Yourself!
Your photo should be exciting. Put your arms up or out, wave, give a thumbs up, or a thumbs down, a peace sign, flirt with the camera! No middle fingers please. Try and avoid pics of you standing still and looking like whoever took the picture was serving you a major inconvenience, and above all else, let's look like we wanna' be here, okay? SMILE! I know this place is a mental asylum so let's look like it.

Be Creative!
You may include a puppet of your own, a Muppet plush or other collectable in your photo, or an acceptable prop. You may also have a full body shot if you like, but pose in a way that's going to allow your full body to appear. In the Muppet Central Show visual, take a look at Erine81981 and yours truly for good examples of that. These poses may need to be discussed for layout purposes, so if you're not sure, please contact Vic Romano.

Show Yer' Stuff!
No small teeny tiny pictures or shots that meet the size requirements but have you standing so far in the background you're a centimeter tall, no headshots. This project requires that you be shot at least from the waist up. Please don't send pictures with your head or fingers cut off either. The image should be a decent size, nothing smaller then a 4" x 6" or 288 pixels wide by 432 pixels high. The bigger the better, even though the photo will most definitely be resized.

Within Reason Of Course...
Understanding that many of you may feel awkward about posting your picture on the web or your parents won't allow it, keep this in mind:

1 Only your picture and user name will be displayed, no other
personal information.
2 If it makes you comfortable, feel free to disguise yourself with a
hat, sun glasses or the like. (see Vibs from the first MC Show for a good example)
3 Please make sure it is okay with your parent(s) or guardian(s) that you appear in this visual.​

Also show some discretion. Ladies, let's not show too much skin, gentlemen let's also be respectful, and if you wear a shirt with writing on it, let's keep it appropriate.

Photo's that do not meet these requirements WILL BE REJECTED!
