Sorry Jamie, wasn't meaning to moan. Just commenting on the ongoing development of the line ....... seems wierd not to when Palisades spend so much time telling us about it. I like the idea of Vaudeville S&W - and overall i think they are doing a great job with the line. I guess international people are going to groan more about more basic figures because they pay double for them - you guys pay peanuts, if i lived in the states i'd be a completist !

Some people have even complained about Vacation Fozzie, until they actually held one. And some continue to not want one. He did wear sunglasses on The Muppet Show and wore the hat in the Belafonte number. The floatie and shirt were just fun. And the suitcase sticers were a great touch. But the tux guys just seem more regal. And this is a chance for some to get a carded Beaker. I guess that I veiw the tux line as a seperate sort of thing. It gets more mileage out of the sculpt and is easier to QC. I don't think we'd have any other figure taking their slot. There is much complaint about figures taking up another slot, but it really doesn't work that way. Just like Tux Rowlf isn't really taking up the Regular Rowlf's place - and MTI Sam is making use of the movie license. Don't think either would be replaced with the regular versions. We'd likely just have to wait for a Rowlf and Sam would be bumped in favor of another movie character. If there were no tux versions, there probably would be a lot fewer exclusives. Might make some completists happy in some way, but I like more. My apartment is being taken over by these guys!!!

I didn't know the story behind the Tux Rowlf so now I get that. Thanks. I like the Tux versions but I guess they just look boring in pictures. Maybe when I see them in person I will want to buy them. I like the look of the Tux Beaker and I will want him just because I love the beaker figure. I do hope the bunsen's glasses aren't easily broken.

I kinda wished that every Tux fig would have a top hat though, but then again, rowlf would look better with out one as a classical piano player wouldn't wear one, plus there is no hole in the head or magent slice, but it would be nice to match up with kermit when Rowlfs not by the piano, i think Busnen and Beaker should have had top hats thought, beaker wouldn't need a hole or magnet if the hat was just carved out and fit on like a real top hat. fozzie if a tux is made has to have one!

I don't think the plasitc should be wasted on a carzy harry, lew zeland or clifford. well i don't know, i think i could see clifford in a tux now, the more MT clifford, then say MFS clifford as the two seem diffrent now;-)

a sweetums tux would be nice, i mean if a sweetums figure is made it would be nice to get a diffrent version of him two, how about an oprah sweetums from the john clesse ep of TMS?

But then again the same could be said for carzy harry and lea zeland. will there be another fourm of Crazy Harry or lew and should there be? I don't think so with certain muppets.

What ever happend to the super hero Scooter that was planned as an exclusive? Are they still going to do him?

yep, they are still doing him. he will be a toyfare mag exclusive, he's listed in the series 3 line up list on the muppet central web page list.

Which means we won't actually get him until around when series 6 comes out...

Yeah, especially considering there hasn't even been a pic of him yet, but we're seeing series 4 pics already. I hope he's a different sculpt than the standard Scooter figure.

The main issue with the Scooter sculpt, as I see it, is the oversized glasses. I think that's to prevent breakage. His eyes still obscure some of the subtlety of the face sculpt. I have seen images from very view and they are almost spot-on. The directly forward view seems to be lacking in the images I have seen, but not that bad.

There won't likely be a different head sculpt. Sculpts are just too expensive and they seem to be happy with the current one. Besides, the characters always look different from the pictures (i.e. Fozzie). I guess we'll have to wait and see how it turns out. But definitely the same head sculpt.

I totally agree with Luke on all his points.

But to rephrase, while using a lot less tact: ENOUGH WITH THE FRIGGIN' TUXES!!!!!
