Well, at least you weren't sobbing throughout practically the whole movie, like I was. (And I don't even really see myself as the type to cry during movies/TV shows all that much.)
Aww, that's alright. Yeah, when we were, like, 5 or 10 minutes into the movie my eyes startled to prickle with tears and I snifed and my brother next to me just shot a look at me (though I reckon he was crying too, because he's been a Toy Story fanatic since the first movie), I guess he wasn't used to me crying in movies. Though it's funny with me, I do cry a lot in many flicks, but not the typical tear-jerkers (The Notebook, anyone...?).

I saw that movie at a theatre and thought the last part was one of the most emotional scenes in the Toy Story trilogy. Tears were forming in my eyes. Aside from that, it's kind of unusual how all three films have universal acclaim!

I saw Toy Story 3 this weekend and I liked how it all ended for the Toys. But I am kind of sad that it didn't show Bo Peep in the movie.
Yeah I missed Bo, too. I'm glad you brought that up! I finally got around to seeing Toy Story 3 on July 4th. While the theater wasn't as crowded as I suspected, my boyfriend and I were among maybe 4 or 5 adults there that didn't bring kids along. Funny moment, though-- There was a lady that had 2 little girls and they were seated across the aisle from us, and they'd been restless the whole time. About 5 minutes from the end of the movie (and just before the woman escorted the kids out of the theater) this little voice says, "She pinched my butt!", just loud enough for us to hear. We had such a hard time holding it together til the movie ended!

I have to admit, I always wondered why the heck a little boy has a porcelain doll like that in the first place. I did like how heart broken Woody was when they mentioned that she was gone. Out of all that stuff, you wonder why he hung on to 3 little squeaky toys that you could win at an arcade, though. I guess it was a unifying theme or something. I find it strange Bo wasn't in the flashbacks, though.

This is why I hate going to kid's movies. No one tells their kids how to behave. I'm surprised I didn't hate Bolt because of some bratty little runt actually started hitting me at the time... then they let them run around the aisles. I was about to smack their mother in the face. I actually yelled 2 or 3 times. And it was one of those "new age" mothers that don't believe in disciplining their child either. Luckily Toy story 3 wasn't as bad, but the kids still talked on audible levels.

If I may....

Actually one of the lesser know facts about Toy Story is that Bo actually didn't belong to Andy, that was actually his kid sister Molly's lamp doll, he just liked playing with her as Woody's "damsel in distress." So most people figure Bo belonged to Andy, she didn't, she was Molly's. Which when you think about it, makes even more sense that she's gone, since it was shown at the very start, Molly is not as "sentimental" about her toys as Andy is, since she gave Barbie anyway without even thinking about it and mocks Andy for keeping his some of his older toys. Mrs. Potato Head was originally suppose to be Molly's as well, but for whatever reason, Andy seems to be the owner of her.

And actually if you get to watch Toy Story again, Bo is seen in the flashbacks, look closer at the part where he's watching TV with his toys. She's there. It's easy to miss her, since you're mainly focus on Andy and when Andy gives Rex some popcorn, but she's there.

As for why Andy kept the "3 squeaky toys" from Pizza planet. Well this is just my own personal thoery here, but I'm thinking that those Aliens were either dumped as the "Pizza Planet mascots" or Pizza Planet as a whole went under, making those Alien toys more "collectable,". But again, that's just a thoery and is no way true to the story.

Ah... I had that theory. Something about it either belonging to Molly or just being an old hand me down, like Woody was.

I wonder if that's true. I was thinking unifying theme... they were extras in his space games and he just never managed to part with them. Of course, I could also see them hiding (either on their own or with Woody's help) every time toys got sold off or donated because, after all, Mrs. Potatohead considers them their sons.

I sort of wish they put the cartoon series into the continuity the way the comic book did (In the second Toy Story comic series from Boom, Andy returns an extra Buzz for a Booster action figure), since the LGM's were very integral to the series. Which brings up the question... why are characters who are Pizza Planet mascots/givaways part of a cartoon series? Now, this is on the basis that Buzz Lightyear of Star Command is an actual series in Toy Story's universe.... would it be that the same company that owns Buzz Lightyear is the same company that owns Pizza Planet... or would PP be a sponsor for the series, and either put those characters in the show, or have a line of merchandise that's exclusively available at their arcades?

I always wonder that myself. After all, if the aliens were in fact part of the "Buzz Lightyear world" Buzz no doubt would of known who they were when he entered the crane game in the first movie. I guess we'll just have to nod our head and think of it as "non-canon" to the Toy Story series, much like those "Toy Story treats" shorts that used to be shown on ABC aren't canon to the story.
