Huh. I used to love Toonami, But I'm still hurtin' from what they did to ReBoot and He-Man and the Masters of The Universe. Even if I had cable, I'd be wary of a Toonami revival because of their track record.

Yeah Here's The Shedule, I Can't Belive There's NO DBZ!!
12:00 a.m. – Bleach
12:30 a.m. – Deadman Wonderland
1:00 a.m. – Casshern Sins
1:30 a.m. – Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
2:00 a.m. – Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
2:30 a.m. – Cowboy Bebop
At 3:00 a.m. It Goes To Repeats OK Guys, Huh, Nice To See Cowboy Bebop On Still!!
Other than like 2 shows, it's basically the same exact anime they air anyway, just with the brand name slapped on it.

Like I said... great that it's "back," but it should have been a tween and up line up like last time.

It's not that I;m a big fan of Sailor Moon (my sister is)... but I keep seeing these new T-shirts and re-released manga and all this restored interest in the character. Is that supposed to come back, or were those all fan based rumors? I don't see any other anime retro merchandise out there. Maybe like one DBZ shirt at Hot Topic.

You know, it would be great if they aired the new Lupin III series on this network. The internet streaming is one thing, but there's nothing for a TV audience that likes dubbing.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but what happened to that MTV classics thing where they had a block of older shows like Beavis and Butt-Head? I'm not really a B&B fan, but I did enjoy the music video segments.

Still, I applaud Nick for sticking with the 90s Are All That this long. I honestly I did not believe they would keep it up.

Dragon Ball Kai was licensed out to Nicktoons. That's why. It would be an ideal place to have it uncut, but since it's been promised to Nicktoons, even the original DBZ is probably out of the question.

I don't see how they can license it out to both Nicktoons and 4Kids, but I don't see them putting it on Toonami for a while. At least until Nick lose the license. And they just stared airing GT... so that's out of the question as well.

I read somewhere that when Toonami was on the afternoons, they had to do some heavy censoring with their anime. Now that Toonami is on Adult Swim, I guess they don't have to do such huge editing anymore, plus adding more darker anime.

I'm familiar with the editing of stuff that's completely okay for an 8 year old Japanese kid, that our 8 year olds would have no problem with, that's censored for lazy parents who want to shield their kids from ... yeah.

The thing is, adult swim airs anime anyway... and most of them are ones they'd normally air with or without the Toonami label. Whereas the afternoon Toonami appealed to a much wider demographic of anime and action cartoon watchers. Which is kinda the point. However, I'm sure CN would find a way to pollute an afternoon Toonami with lame toy based animes that Japanese 5-6 year olds love (allegedly) to sell some products that would be popular for, Oh, one Christmas toy buying season and the 5 months leading up to that point. So maybe late night isn't too bad a thing.

I was randomly searching the forum again, and I found this page. I had to say I LOVED Saturday night! The only problem was no Sara, but I else get more people to watch, she will come back  and my favetoite anime? Deadman wonderland! I had to whip my head around in disbelief at tr first censor bleep, and I have to say... I am impressed. Just the way the left off the last episode..,, wow. Gross. I like it! And I didn't even look it up on Wikipedia to see what it was about. And I like that it is a new show so I am not lost because it is halfway through the season ( like bleach) I cannot wait till tommorow night!
