Also, do any other muppets appear in this "At the Dance" segment in the background, not telling jokes?

If not, maybe you could have Wayne & Wanda and Taminella & Svengali appear in the background and not talk.
Yes, Zelda Rose and Nigel, a male pig and a female pig, and two Whatnots.

Wayne & Wanda were only ever in the earlier "At the Dance" segments, but Taminella & Svengali, that I like- maybe not in this outline, but somewhere along the line. Also, the usual pair of pigs would be there too.

Man: "Boy, your behavior tonight really shocked me. That's a side of you I've never seen before. I hope you haven't got any more surprises in store for me tonight."

(She turns into a strange creature.)
Which strange creature does the woman turn into?

Also, what creature does the whatnot woman at the end of "At the Dance" turn into?

Mildred in the panel is Frank, of course. The other two characters, Bunsen and Scooter, are performed by Dave and Richard, so that leaves Frank free to play Mildred. And Muppy was nearly always Dave Goelz, at least whenever he was named off.

Lead rats- Jerry and Richard
Lenny- Jim (his dancing partner, Eren)
Whatnot couple in AtD- Jim
Donald the fisherman- Frank
Donald's wife- Jerry
Nigel- John
Pig in "Sir Brian"- Frank
Chicken in "Sir Brian"- Eren
Baskerville- Jerry
Rover Joe- John

The rest I can't recall offhand or I never decided in the cases of groups. I'll have to re-read and get back to you on the remaining ones.

Ed Wynn was excellent as Uncle Albert in Mary Poppins and I just love the reference to his role in Bunsen's invention that creates the "floating happy effect" for the rendition of the song I love to laugh.
The panel discussion is wonderful. Nice to see Miss Piggy not in it, she was already used almost more than enough times on TMS real panels. The discussions were something I personally missed in the other four seasons. I wish there had been a panel in every first season episode. Not featuring Piggy too regularly of course but I am digressing.
The other thing I love very much is Statler and Waldorf at the end. It fits in with the way they were in season one how Waldorf used to be a little more prone to liking the show sometimes as I talked about in my classic muppets thread Observation about Statler and Waldorf.
You must have really wanted to expand this one to a script Gorgon. You never even posted the mere outline version at all. Keep up the work my friend. You are a genius.:excited:

How very true.

Sorta. I started out writing just an outline, but I wrote so much that turning it into a full script required only a little extra effort- I must've been more than halfway through when I realized that I had almost a whole script.

Thanks for commenting.
