TMS Muppets: When did they look thier best?

Hey everyone,
I was just thinking today. Since the Muppet's looks are constantly changing, what were your favorite versions of Muppets in the 5 seasons of TMS? Here's my list:

Piggy: Seasons 1/2: Okay, okay, I know I'll get a lotta negative feedback here, but as Frank said about Aughra, "She's so ugly, she's beautiful". Same goes here, IMHO. Just liked her design.

Scooter: Definitley late season 1 (he looked horrible in seasons 3-
5, with the exception of a few times, like my avatar)

Floyd: Season 3

Fozzie: Hard to pick, but I'm gonna say season 2. In seasons 4-5, his pear shaped face went away, more roundish, which I didn't like.

Janice: Season 2/3

Gonzo: Season 2 was good for him

any more Muppets you'd like to add?

Does it have to be Muppet Show only???

My favs are actually how pretty much all the characters look in Muppets Take Manhattan, Especially the Electric Mayhem
- except for Janice She's best in seasons-4&5. And Animal also season 3-5

Other than that :

Statler&Waldarf: season1

Gonzo: Seasons 4&5

Sam: 3-5

Here's a few descripitions...

:In season one Gonzo's kinda creepy. Not rounded like
now. Gagged edges and a sharp nose. Reminds you of Gonzo's
roots. The odd foam headed no-design-at-all Cigar Box Snarl.
He looks tired. Obviously before the mechanical eyes. Also,
every part that's biege now used to be blue. His mouth was
just a cut in his head.
: Season one,.... not that good....
:I loved the hair.
: Always looked good to me

I prefered Animal from series 1, all red.
Never did like the purple bits!!

Gonzo from series 2 was best too.
His nose is FAR too short, thick and rounded these days.

Series 1 statler and waldorf tho,...by series 4-5 they changed way too much...Waldorf looked like he had cancer and statler turned indian!

Guys,

I really think all the Muppets looked there best in The Great Muppet Caper . With the exception of Statler and Waldorf.

Who i think looked best in Seasons 1/2.

I agree with Warrick. GMC was the pinacle of Muppet design. Miss Piggy has never looked better and the cast all just looked right - except for Statler and Waldorf. However, I'll have to say that I like modern Rizzo better than the earlier versions.

I agree w/ Warrick and frogboy4 I like the muppets design in the GMC and rizzo is better in the form he started in. needs not to wear to much clothes. Maybe a hat from time to time.
