Threadless just accepted my design as the 2nd contest winner! Tee shirt printing, cash and some prizes are included. Your support is exactly why they're doing this. Thanks sooo much! Yay for fuzzy anarchy!
SWEET!!! Congrats James! You totally deserve it! I can't wait to get this shirt!!!

Thanks everybody!

PS - They've asked me not to mention my winning on the Threadless website, but have not asked for my silence elsewhere. Yeah, like I could keep that a secret with all the flames to put out! Nonetheless, it might be wise not to post about my selection over there. Thanks.

The shirt will reportedly take about 11 weeks to print.

What in the world are you talking about? The winner sends them the high resolution file once they've been notified. I don't know why this conversation is taking a bizarre turn, but I've got to get the files ready to send off. Please refer to their rules if you have any questions about art submission.
Obviously I'm misunderstanding something...
Sah-weeeeet! Will they be using the one that we voted on, or a variant?
I might submit both! Seriously, I think the regular one, but a little less washed out colors.
That sounds to me as if you have not decided which variation of your design you will send to them, and are still considering design and color changes.

Hey Jamie... Congrats on having your Muppetational Mosaic be chosen for T-shirt immortalization. Alls I know is whenever it's ready for purchase, I'll definitely buy one and be uber-happy to have and wear it, like I am with my Sesame Ensemble Google Design.

Excellent work. :jim:

Threadless has the money. They have a threadless endcap at all the Targets near me. Virtually every indie rocker and hipster out there obsessively buys threadless shirts.

Anyways congrats Jamie. Interesting skullduggery addendum. Thank goodness it wont be red tho, the two colors I wont wear are white and red:smile:

But mmm...that Symbiosis shirt! If I was Threadless I'd print that, the balloon one and a few others.

I've officially submitted the work!

The lengthy email of formats, hoops and tax forms took a few hours and I was glad to cross every i and dot every t...wait a minute. Froggit!

I sent them the original file. That's always been the plan. It's the design they picked and it's the design they'll undoubtedly use. The colors pop a teensy bit more due to the design notes I received, but they can key the color however they like. Once the check clears they own it! I also enclosed an alternate version with thicker lines to make it printable against any color shirt. I didn't want to take any chances that their printers would have issues. :search:

In addition I sent the punk rock version if they wanted to print it along-side and not instead of the original. If you look underneath my posting the picture in this thread it clearly says "ps, this red one is not the version they'll be using". The design was made as kind of a gag for a friend of mine who supported me throughout the contest. Nonetheless, any choices are up to them. I'd love to see them do this exclusive version too!

However, I'd much rather they print up a whole lot of other designs. Wouldn't it be great to have 20 shirts to choose from?

Awesome! I look forward to wearing one.

I didn't like the red one as much on first glance, but the skull-and-crossbones banjos gag has since grown on me. It'd probably compete with the other, so I'm not expecting it. And, yeah, I'd much rather see a lot of cool new Muppet shirts. I only wish they'd be on the shelves in time for Dragon*Con.

I'm kinda sad that Mr. Penguin's design won't be getting made onto the shirts.

It deserved it, since it has so many familiar and obscure characters from the "The Muppets" canon. And since the new movie is bringing a bunch of those long lost characters back.
