Favorite Type of Music: Everything. Hahaha. My iPod has almost every genre of music on it. I can do without rap though.

You listed "Wings of Desire" - I want to see that. Did you see "Paris, Texas"? It was made three years earlier, and also directed by Wim Wenders - and... starring Harry Dean Stanton from the Jim Henson Hour movie "Monster Maker" among many other great things!
No, haven't seen "Paris, Texas," but thank you for the reminder! I also like "Faraway, So Close!" although it's not as good, IMHO, as "Wings". LOVE Harry Dean Stanton...:smile:

Going to see The National Sept. 6 with Wye Oak and Yo La Tengo. Can't wait.
Oh nice. I missed the National when they played this two day festival in San Francisco I went to. I went for day one which was LCD Soundsystem, Deadmau5, Miike Snow, Die Antword, etc but day two was Belle and Sebastian, The National, Zoey Descenel's She and Him, etc. But pretty much I adore any band who admits having a Joy Division influence. Sadly I have a hard time getting any of my friends into "indie" sort of music.
