Phase Alteration Line, which is the main European TV signal output. It’s why you might often hear shows or movies in a slightly higher and faster audio pitch; because it’s using PAL format/audio.

If there ever was an end credits song from an animated movie that sounds so much better in PAL, it would be "Love Survives" from ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN, and thankfully, the PAL version is what's available on the soundtrack.

Roy Orbison was definitely one of those artists who, even as mainstream music adapted to certain sounds and styles with each decade (psychedelic in the 60s, disco and soft rock in the 70s, synth pop and hip hop in the 80s), his own sound and style remained this same; this may be from the late 80s, but it sounds no different than his music from the 60s.
