This thread is dedicated to the longest running prime time animated series, The Simpsons. And is for discussing about everybody;'s favorite animated family (Although I like the Flintstones too, heh! )

So tonight is the first HD episode of the series and while the opening credits have been tweaked over the years, this it the first time it has been fully reanimated in 20 years. Here it is! What cha think about it? I think it's pretty darn cool, ma-self!

I read about the new opening. Pretty cool.

The Simpsons is my #1 favorite show of all time, no doubt about it.

If I had to choose just one fave character, I'd have to go with Mr. Burns all the way.

I DVR'd the new episode while I was out and I can't wait to watch it!

I think I am too much of a "classic simpsons" fan to really enjoy anything new these days

I just dont like that new computerized look and the Family Guy style writing...

That new opening is pretty cute and funny. Awsome to see them in HD now. I don't watch the shows any more because i buy the sets instead. But that was awsome and glad they finally bought themself a newer HD TV other then the one they used to have. Now maybe they won't have more problems with the TV going out. Like it has before in later seasons. LOL

You know? I like the new stuff added in. I think it funny, but I do miss the older animation.

Ok i have to agree with you tony that for me this show is my all time 2nd all time faverite show i know that we are not surpose to have two faverites of things LOL , can not help it and i can not wait to get the dvds or blu rays LOL i really love the new opening it is much better than the orgnal one , i can not belive i am saying that .

I say it that way because the very first version was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool .

I i love this show i am looking forword to 20 more years of this show . i can not belive i have grown up with this show love it .
