My location? It's a reference to the King's Quest games - ever hear of them? My last location, Marlinspike Hall, was a nod to Tintin.

Ah...the hits keep coming. And it's true, you'd have to be made of stone to not react one way or another to Richard's speeches - it really has an impact on you, whether or not you belong to any given faith. He had all the right words for what was a very bittersweet moment for all the performers, the family and the fans.

I might have said this before, but in the video, he really sounds like someone you'd want to sit down and talk over your troubles with. And that's basically what he was doing - he was helping everyone come to terms with their grief.

Oh, dear, missed Trading Places again...maybe one of these days I'll be able to catch it.

"With that tongue? No way!"

About King's Quest: it's a series of adventure games, which follow the lives and adventures of the royal family of the kingdom of Daventry. There are four: King Graham and Queen Valanice, and their teenage children Prince Alexander and Princess Rosella. In each game, one of the four ends up on a quest of some sort, usually in another kingdom. There are both good and bad wizards and witches, assorted magical beings, and occasionally a bit of political intrigue. There's lots of emphasis on using logic and solving puzzles.

The company that made the games is the same one that made the Dark Crystal game.

7000 posts. Goodness chief, didn't figure it'd he this big. I'm touched. --- What am I saying? Richard would be touched. Honored, I believe.

I'm getting stuff together for my wedding; got 2 out 6 bridesmaids dresses. And got both the MoB and MoG dresses.

My mothers mother died. My Nanny...god I miss nanny! She was the sweetest woman ever but she'd knock you down a peg if you got too cocky around her. It was best. Her mind was already gone and it was just a shell of a body left. (she died of alzhemiers/old age)

Glad to be able to pop my head in guys and spout off a bit to y'all. Love ya, Renee. (Sara)

I'm really sorry, my condolences to your family. I've been there and understand the feeling. At that point it probably is for the best, but it's still hard. Hang in there and feel free to PM or post here if you need to talk!

Well, what'd ya expect for the guy who was described as "a force of nature" in the Street Gang book?

Sara...I'm really sorry to hear about your grandmother. It sounds like you loved her very much, so it's got to be rough for you. I'll second what heralde said and tell you to hang in there - we're all behind you. :sympathy:

I'm honestly just blanking the whole **** mess out. Delving head first into wedding details. Nanny probably didn't even realize I was getting married. She never got to meet Robert.

I wish I had my Nanny back; I miss her so so much. She's...partially why I wrote Nanny the way I did. I mean, wrote "Nancy" in my stories. She got a part of her modified personality from my own Nanny.
