Well, the chocolate in any form is nice, but I think the stores are jumping the gun by getting most of their Easter stuff set up so soon. After all, Lent only started last week - and between now and Easter we've still got St. Patrick's Day, of course.

And speaking of St. Patrick's, and probably also because it's snowing here, I'm starting to crave a big bowl of beef and barley stew, and a nice large chunk of soda bread slathered with butter. In my family we eat a lot of that in March.

So that explains why it's a fave dish among you and your roomies. As for me, to whip up a dish, that's truly delish *song lyrics by Boober* for St. Patrick's... That'd have to be what was my maternal grandfather's prefered meal of bangers and mash. Boiled cabbage and skinned potatoes with cooked corn beef/brisket, slathered with ketchup and mustard, and a big tumbler glass of iced tea to wash it all down. :hungry:

I find I'm enjoying early Easters more lately because I'm needing reminders of Spring more and more, lol.

I'm not a corn beef and cabbage person, more of a St. Joseph's Day cake fan, hehe. Though my Grandma makes corn beef and cabbage very well (she's an Italian American who gave her Church the recipe for St. Patrick's Day! ;D)

People we won again! Yeah! But, then again I think were the only really active fan club too. At least I think so.

With so much time on my hands (a whole week with nothing to do pratically) starting on Tuesday I'm musing maybe trying my writing once more. I'm starting to get that writing itch again.

But don't hold it to me with a penguin/muffin cannon though!

Also I've saved the awards image on my iPhone and it's my background now.

Thanks!

Chalk this one up under really wishful thinking, but I dreamed last night that Richard was making a school appearance in the town I write on for the paper. 'Course, in the dream I also had a terrible case of writer's block and deadline-induced anxiety, but that's par for the course.
