Oooh...hope the FAA beefs up the no-fly zones over the DC area while your friends are flying home.

I don't know about psychic...but the thing is, I got into a car accident on a certain stretch of road two years ago (the other driver was at fault, by the way, and no one got hurt, but my car really got dinged up). It was a gray, wet Tuesday in March...and about a month before, I dreamed that I got into an accident right on that very spot, and in that kind of weather. Granted, the accident in my dream was a solo effort involving a telephone pole, but still...

I just had a chat with my dad about it, about whether or not there is such a thing as being clairvoyant. (Mom thinks it was just a coincidence.) He just told me to keep an open mind about it, and that just because we can't explain things doesn't mean they can't happen. Or something like that. Dad tends to ramble quite a bit when he and I are having a conversation.

Oh, MBM, I hope that dream of yours doesn't come true.

Erin, I just wanted to say... you did mention that you can be pretty intuitive. And, when we dream, I personally feel like our intuition may be heightened. I have also had a few dreams that have come true. It really is an interesting phenomenon.

It pro'ly won't. In the dream, due to too much Sims, I paused the "game", moved the plane aside, set it down, and saw all these tiny people get out. That's gotta be a good sign right?

Wow, Erin. I think that means you're "very in tune with your sub and unconcious" according to those new-age witchcrafty dream books.

I didn't know it was possible to be in tune with your unconscious...but then again, I've never really placed trust in those kinds of dream books anyway. Too much jargon that I can't understand.
I think the only person who can understand a dream is the person who had that dream. We're all wired differently, and we all think a little differently, so each dream has a different meaning for us.

Oh, MBM, if only it were that easy to prevent airplane disasters in real life...

I hope so too; classes start in three weeks. I think the university needs to invest in a few good lightning rods.

I'll be praying it does happen, I mean it'd be awesome if I could pause and set the plane on the ground!

I agree with you Muppet Newsgirl. It's weird that there's so many dream dictionaries, and even weirder that so many people rely on them.

No letter from Steve. Maybe it's because Sesame's on hiatus for the summer.

Judging from your description, MBM, the Sims-type games have come a long way since they released SimEarth (design your own planet and keep it able to sustain life) back in 1990. I still remember my brother playing that game...

As for the residence hall fire at my school...well, it's rather worse than I expected. The president's statement called the hall "a total loss," and so it looks like the hall's going to be condemned and destroyed sometime in the next few weeks. It's a real shame; it was a fairly new building, only two or three years old or something.
