I do think she was referring to Amanda; she mentioned that this grand daughter's Mother was Richard's older sister.
Hehe, anyway, on to the next random crazy thing; it looks like the 3rd season of The Muppet Show will be released in May! Here are some episodes I'm definitely looking forward to:
Lynn Redgrave: Otherwise known as the one where Scooter frantically tries to balance directing and luting (as Alan a Dale that is).
Pearl Bailey: I think the first episode where we learn Floyd and Janice have started taking the phrase "make sweet music together" literally, hehe. Plus Janice continues to become her groovy self, particularly when speaking to Kermit in the beginning.
Leo Sayer: I'm sorry, I just ADORE Leo's rendition of "When I Need You." ::melts:: Also, I'm reminded of Leo's other Muppet appearance, when our puppet friends hosted The Tonight Show in the '70s. Leo has a nice long chat with Kermit and Scooter about a variety of topics. It actually comes across very natural, like it's three guys discussing anything that comes to mind (it may very well have been at least partially unscripted). Leo discusses his previous Muppet Show appearance, and asks Scooter if he remembers any of the Cockney Rhyming Slang he taught him. Again, very natural, which leads me to wonder if Richard was the one whom Leo taught the famous "english English." Hehe
Gilda Radner: Gilda, Beaker, Bunsen's crazy glue...need we say more?
Raquel Welch: This was one of the episodes included on the Time Life Muppet Show DVD I used to rent, the one that was such a beacon of hope to me during a difficult time. And perhaps the most risque moment in Muppet history!
Roy Rogers and Dale Evans: I haven't seen this one, but I recall Jerry Nelson saying Roy and Dale were so sweet and reminded you of being around your Grandparents, hehe.
Danny Kaye: We actually see Statler and Waldorf outside the balconey for once and Kermit pays them a very sweet (and surprising) compliment in the end.
Liberace: The concert for the birds really brings an air of Art and culture to the Muppet Show and excellently showcases Liberace's talent, which was lost too soon.
Oh yeah those wackos, always discussing random crazy things; they need to get lives!"Some website somewhere..." oh, yeah, yeah, she probably means that band of loonies called the RHLC...ever hear of them?
