Wow, a month already! Three cheers for the happy couple, hip, hip ---

(loud, guttural burp from a cloud overhead)

MN: Richard, for heaven's sake!
R: Wasn't me; it was Don.
MN: Oh.
DS: (hiccups) Pardon me. (pats stomach)
R: A bunch of the other angels are having a big celestial bakeoff up here, so Don, Jerry Juhl, Jim and I have been stuffing our faces for part of the morning.

Wow a month, time flies!

MN, very cute, though I would put Joe Raposo in there, he doesn't get mentioned very often. Come to think of it, I never think of Eren for some reason either.

I was taking an extra long walk yesterday, just kinda wandering since it was a nice day. I happened upon a Hallmark store and way in the back...there they were...the 'life size' poseable Muppet toys! Just Kermit, Fozzie and Animal, but I was really pleased.

I'd heard about the poseable Kermit but hadn't given it much thought. I'd never had a Kermit doll in my life and never particularly desired one (so I thought). But the moment I saw it there, I just had this urge, like I've been waiting for this my whole life! lol Maybe it was just the thrill of seeing something Muppet related in any store lately.

I like the way you can cross his legs and how his arms are posed in the classic "yay!!!" position. I took a picture of him this morning and put it as my background on the cell phone. I didn't like the idea at first, I usually don't like looking at 'unofficial' photos of people's stuff. But I have to say, it's such a nice feeling seeing his little happy face everytime I open my phone, hehe.

Animal's likeness looked, eh, ok. I think I saw that toy on TP's Ugly Toy contest. Where they said his eyes were so crossed they might switch places, lol.

Hmmm... Wonder what it is they need to raise funds up there. Sure would like to hear if Joe and Jeff Moss got invited to the Muppeteers' cloud for the consumption of the bake sale's goods.

That sets me to thinking... What number do you think their cloud is?

Good point. I'll ask them where Joe and Eren are.

JH: Oh, Eren was in the bakeoff, so she's been stationed at a table for a bit.
MN: What'd she make?
JJ: She sent in the baklava. And it was divine, to say the least.
DS: Yeah, and what did Joe send in again...
R: He did those black and white cheesecake bars.
DS: Oh, right, right, he called them 'piano bars.'
JH: (chuckle) Very clever, very clever...and if you guys are looking for Jeff Moss, I think he's off visiting a friend in another part of heaven today.

JH: Oh, it's not fundraising, it's all free. And it's not so much a contest so much as a chance for people to get to share their baked treats with everyone.
R: Yeah, they get to show off their skills, we get fed, so it's all good.
JJ: As for clouds...well, this one is cloud 9.635. It's a chunk out of cloud 9.
R: But honestly, we're not big on sticking numbers on the clouds. It's actually not that hard to find people up here.
JM, JR & E: Look out below!
JH: Okay, boys, make room, Eren, Joe and Jeff are coming in.

*Setting box down... Cloud 9.635 huh? Well, I thought that since Cloud 9 is usually the one where everyone wants to be on because that's their own little personal heaven... And Cloud 10 was already exposed as party central in that one episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch... Just thought that the Muppeteers' cloud should be some other specially numbered cloud like that.
Frankly, I have a different interpretation of heaven and that other place based on reading Mark Twain's Letters from Satan and my own thoughts on the subject.

Mmm... What's in where? Oh, the box.
Brought something for the bake sale... They're coconut kisses, shredded pieces of toasted sweetened coconut wrapped and rolled up into clusterlike balls. They've been drizzled with a bit of key lime juice and a small piece of the fruit itself has been hidden in the center. Each one costs two dimes, call them... Well, Jim should know, these are limes-in-the-coconuts of course.
*Double groan?

JH: Oh, goody, limes in the coconut. Thank you, Ed. (takes box and sets it down) Truth be told, I think the cloud we're sitting on was made from bits of clouds 9 and 10, so we can have a bit of celestial bliss and a bit of party central at the same time, 'course, there's really no set guidelines for...
R: Really no set guidelines for going on and on about cloud numbers while the rest of your friends are diving into the coconut kisses. (which he and the others are doing at the moment, with gusto) Come on, Jerry, you've eaten five of them already.
JH: What the hey...guys, save some for me, won't you?
