"Oh, I don't play games -er, go fish- that's why they call me 'no-games Jones'".

LOL.

Anyone remember the Ohklahoma (spelling??) sketch? There might've been a thread about it, it's with Kermit. I havn't seen it for yonks but I still rember it pretty clearly.

Btw, I changed my avatar- AGAIN!- to Sailor Venus...
She's so cool! ^^

Oh, I see, that's the only reason I'm tolerated! Hehe just kidding. Just hope I don't come across all obessive-y or something.

Yeah, that part is funny, Kiki!

Now I do remember the Oklahoma sketch and it was pretty funny with Forgetful trying to sing while Kermit filmed him and he kept getting it wrong singing AKLAHOMA, EKLAHOMA and even IKLAHOMA. Kermit was absolutely furious.

Finally Forgetful did get it right, only to have the take cancelled for lunchtime:big_grin: Funny.

BTW Katie, my favourite scout is actually Sailor Jupiter, but I do agree with you that Sailor Venus is cool. All the scouts are cool. You need them all for Sailor Moon to work.

Oh yeah, I love that line. And Elmo's reaction was actually funny too, the way he stares at the camera.

Although, I started getting worried about Forgetful by the end when he couldn't even remember they'd played games that day! You know, why didn't someone ever take him to a doctor?? lol

Like I said earlier, I need to figure out how to post or link photos to the forum...'cause I'm working on something that you guys might find interesting. Not at liberty to say what it is, though, and it won't be done for a bit...
I just wanted to say that other people here have much better ideas about this than I do, as I'm not sure about it either. But, I can't wait to see what you've got planned!

And heralde, I don't think you come off as obsessive-y at all. Infact, I love it! You bring so many things forth that I personally am not really familiar with, and I find it so interesting to learn about. And I love and appreciate the many links that you find and post here! So in other words... it's pretty fun to tolerate ya!

Thanks, Skye, that's nice of you to say. And I'm glad I've got people to share this stuff with.

And I'm glad the links I find generally go over well. It's really just basic Internet research...oh dear, I've given away my secret!

I just saw The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson tonight. It was my first time seeing it again after its original TV airing. It's so weird, I remembered what it was like watching it from a child's point of view. One familiar moment was when Gonzo's reading a letter that said Jim would be watching The Muppets from Heaven.

What I enjoyed most was when they said how much The Muppets were like a family. They bicker and argue, but in the end they really care about each other. The celebrities who spoke about Jim were all great, but Frank Oz's moment was, without a doubt, the most touching.

I also saw the Sesame Street episode where Mr. Hooper dies. Guess who opens the episode? Our favorite memory-challenged cowboy, Forgetful Jones! He started by calling Gordon "Burstrom." And when Gordon corrected him, he said, "Oh that's right! Your wife's name is Burstrom!"

Gordon asked Forgetful why he had been laughing a moment ago. Naturally, he couldn't remember, but Gordon told him to think hard. Eventually he remembered; he'd been laughing because the sun was shining and the breeze was blowing. It was cute, Forgetful was so happy that he'd finally remembered something! And he said, "It's funny, how could I forget the little things that make me so happy?!"

Aw, no problem, heralde. I'm glad we can be here for you to share it all with! Hehe... oh, and nice secret.

How cool. I would love to see The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson someday. It sounds so sad but nice. And, as you said, very touching.

Awww, that sounds so cute! Totally adorable! Forgetful just gets cooler and cooler. "... because the sun was shining and the breeze was blowing." That's really sweet.

Sailor Jupiter is one of my faves too! She's the one with the brown hair and the green outfit, yeah? How about Sailor Murcery, I rully like her, she's all wise and everything. She's awesome, all of them are.

Oh, I think you guys will like it. And I'll drop a hint: it has to do with Richard. But that's all I can say right now. It'll probably be done sometime between Thanksgiving and Dec. 1.

By the way, the Fraggle Rock movie's been mentioned on CNN.com, so it's not just the Muppet world who's keeping an eye on it. :smirk:

I wonder if Jim and Richard are going to be watching the taping from up in heaven? Or maybe they'll come down and secretly mingle with the Muppeteers? Who knows?

Sounds cool, MN! Hope your figure out all the little technical difficulties!

Wow, I can't believe CNN mentioned the movie, that's great. And the writer is Frank Zappa's son, that's interesting! I really hope he does a good job (I don't mean that to be rude, I'm just saying). Other than the movie, I'm looking forward to any Behind the Scenes specials (I love that stuff!)

I'm sure Richard and Jim be watching, no matter how it turns out. And who know, maybe their presence will help the movie.
