Yeah, I love that photo of Richard, Frank and Jim. It's funny how Jim and Frank look like they're having a blast, while Richard is concentrating so hard (and seemingly struggling to stay up!)

The Sweetums one is good too, he looks serious there as well, but he was probably exhausted. The chair he's in looks like the one from the "We've Got Each Other" number

Yeah, it's that chair that looks like it belongs in Westminster Abbey or something.
I read somewhere...I think it was one of Jerry Nelson's posts somewhere else on the forum...that the full-body Muppet suits had large metal harnesses in them. If Richard did look a little worn out in that photo, it's probably from lugging all that weight of burlap, foam rubber, belt and harness around.

He does look like he's really concentrating in that one photo of him with Jim and Frank; he was the new kid on the block, after all...but standing like that can't have been too comfortable. One sudden arm movement from Jim, and Richard would have been flat on his face.

The chair and the rest of the scenery from the "We've Got Each Other" number looks like some of the scenery from The Frog Prince, Sweetums' first Muppet appearance. They probably still had it lying around.

That's interesting, I didn't know about the full-bodied suits using metal harnesses. I definitely wouldn't like that!

Yup, you really want to make a good impression when you're first starting out after all. There's a similar shot in The Works book where they're filming the Gorch scenes for SNL and he's playing a right hand again. Actually, now that I think about it, the photo's on Muppet Wiki as well,
