Well, I hate to say this, but for me it was pretty much the opposite. I didn't love high school by any means, but it was allright in the long run. I just had a couple of friends that I stuck by, (we were all semi-outcasts), and I got through it.
College, on the other hand, was murder! I made a few friends, but never got close, and for the most part I didn't know anyone. Most of my professors and classes were great, and I managed to get something from all of them! I guess part of it was my fault, being somewhat of a loner which hurt my social life, and a slacker which hurt my academic one, but I still feel that the girls, (I went to a woman's college), could have made just a bit more of an effert! Know what I mean?

Well, I don't wnat to sound like I'm feeling sorry for myself or anything, but High shool was absolutly the single worst time of my life, and somtimes I think middle school was worse. I mean elementary school was really bad fom me to. I mean some things were all might falut, but a lot of thing wern't. But collage was really great for me, for the short time I was there, everyone seemed really nice there. I guess I've just naturally always kind of a loner, weather anyone wanted to be my friend or not, which not many people wanted to be anyway.

Wow, I'd say of everyone here, you had the most similar experience to me Will! You also sound like much the same sort of person; even when I had friends, it was haard for me to get really close!

Hmm. I loved Kindergarten and Elementary school. I mean, I was extraordinarily tall which made me a bit of an outcast (plus my mother's choice of clothing for me *blech* ) but our entire class was like one big friendly thing.

And then in Middle school, everyone completely split up, becoming either a flirt (for lack of a worse word), a jocks with humongous egos, or "other". Us "others" were friends, but the rest kind of outran everyone and made all of us "others" miserable.

But now in High School the "others" are perceived as as more interesting than the rest, at least to me. It doesn't bother me as much, because I know I've got something better than the rest of them. I'm pretty optimistic about high school, even though I've only been going for three or four weeks.

I think that's allright every now and then. I look at this club, not only as a Richard Hunt Lovers Club, (there, I said his name), but also as a sort of general place for us to hang out and unwind

High school is ALWAYS a drag, whether it's religious or public. Don't get me wrong, I really liked my high school but it was still a very difficult time, worrying about class and friends etc. College is a lot better. Just hang in there and do your best.
I do go to college. That's 7th-12th grade here. Is college like uni where you guys are or somethin'? i've always wondered that. yeah, but basically I'm in high school. I'm sorry to hear that you were bullied, sara.
I don't get bullied. seriously, never. Every year @ college I seemed to the 'class clown'. i mean, i don't want to sound boastful but I get the teachers spluttering sometimes! I love to make sarcastic remarks and joke 'round! Same in gr.6 This is just me, but just quietly, I thought primary school was kinda bad. Well, the 5th grade was my worst year. The 6th grade was v.v. fun! I'll survive! ('hope)
yeah, this is a place to unwind i guess.

Yes, I believe so. There's elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. How does it work for you?
