It's a good/OK movie. One of Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy's classic buddy films.

Herald, at least now you can go post in the Oops! thread.
Just remember to drink up on milk, you can probably get away with that as an excuse to get some choc doughnuts though.

Thanks for the thought, Count. Yeah, chocolate doughnuts would be nice right about now.

Aw heralde, I'm really sorry to hear that you sprained your ankle. Just relax, take it easy... and I hope it feels better really soon!

I can only catch the first hour of Trading Places, since I go back to work at the paper at six tonight. I love my life...

I showed my mom all six parts of Of Muppets and Men last night. She loved it. She told me that the first time she saw the Viking pigs sketch, she "just about died." I don't doubt it...and she had a good cackle over the Muppeteers trying to do the gargling fish in the studio.

Could you tape the rest of Trading Places, Erin? I don't know if I'll actually be able to watch it myself, so I was planning on taping it... well, probably just the last half hour of it, anyway.

I think it's so great that someone put Of Muppets and Men up. Awesome that your mom loved it, too. I still have to head over and watch that myself.

No can do, Skye; we don't have a VCR hooked up to the tube. Besides, it belongs to my roommate, and when I'm gone she has first dibs on it, natch.

Do let me know how Richard does, won't you?

Thanks, Skye, I'll try to relax!

Oh and Count, amazingly my Mom just bought me a doughnut! It wasn't chocolate, but still, very appreciated.

Yeah, it's great that Of Muppets and Men was posted, I'll watch it again sometime this week.

Aw, that's too bad. But, I most certainly will let you know how he does. I know MBM thought he did really well in this movie... and it is Richard, so I'm sure he'll be wonderful!

Yeah, Herald; that stinks! My cousin just recovered from a knee operation, so I know all about the invalid and crutches thing!
Sarah, that's a great dream. I'm surprised though that you didn't jump out the window to have Richard catch you! You know, your subcontious's usual routeen.
Yeah, I was meaning to post about us pulling ahead of the Kiss thread when I first noticed it; just never got around to it. Yay us!

I don't know if I'll be around to watch the whole movie, but we can always hope. I don't think I would find it all that interesting personally, but I would be willing to give it a try. Could anyone tell me what point in the movie the cameos come at, nearer the beginning or the end? Thanks for the tip Herald.
And while we're talking about TV tips, I didn't want to make a thread for this for a few reasons, but if any of you watch Extreme Makeover, my friend's family is going to be on it tonight. For anyone who's interested, my friend Guen is the "middle child" so to speak.

Kate, well I know Richard's cameo is really near the end of the movie... like, in the last 5 or 10 minutes or so. I don't know where Frank's is, though. Very cool that your friend's family will be on Extreme Makeover... I don't personally watch that show, but I'll bet it would be cool to see them on there.
