Man this thread just went....SHOOM! And gained like...two whole pages within one day! Oh, and many welcomes to Skye, our newest Richard Hunt-Lover! I am the creator of this place, and...well; I hope you're not allergic to peanuts.

*hands Skye a huge bowl of garlic-peanut butter popcorn, and a huge hug.*

Oh wow! You guys! Thanks!! Yes, I will be doing something special for my Daddy Richard on Father's Day.

I'm going to send a Father's Day card up into the skies, by way of a nice, large helium balloon. Sounds quite silly, but I believe it will be wonderful.

I'll just do something on August 16th.

So, guys, how did your little dream experiments go? My REM cycle was thrown out of whack by high levels of caffeine in my system. That's what I get for drinking at least four cups of moderately strong tea within a six-hour time span.

I've got to go review a movie for the campus rag today; while I'm out I guess I'll pick up a book on dreams and the subconscious or something.

The sugar threw off my sleep. The static from my radio kept wakin me up, and when I finally turned it off, I woke up every twenty minutes after that, telling myself to suck it up and have that darn dream about Richard. I had more dreams then you could ever dream of having (Pun most definitely intended, wocka wocka), but none involved Richard. Blech. I recall half-dreams in which I would just insert his picture into it and hope it would stick, but it never really worked. Eh, well.

Well, it looks like talking to you ladies certainly helps me because surprisingly, I did actually have a dream about Richard last night. It was on some sort of set... I'm not sure what movie or show the set was for or anything, but I met him and Jerry Nelson. It was pretty cool and nice for my first Richard dream... they were both really sweet and really funny (big surprise, right?) and Richard was all smiley and cute...

So, the pact... almost worked, right? Ha, easy for me to say... I didn't quite hold up my end of it. We should keep it going, though. It's a fun idea, and it could work sometime.

Oh, and just a quick thanks to Sara for the welcome! Very cute Father's Day idea. I'll bet it'll be wonderful, too!

Lucky duck. Though, Richard didn't try to drown you and hurl you towards lightning, now did he. Maybe he thought that was enough.

If he comes tonight, I'll try ta send him to you guys.

P.S. Reading over this, we're a bit crazy.

I didn't have any honest-to-goodness dreams...but I did have a fleeting vision of the man; he had on a red polo shirt with blue stripes and a pair of jeans, as I remember.

While I was out running errands today, I ducked into the bookstore for a bit and scanned through all the books on dreams. Most of them were too New Age-y for me, but I eventually found something I liked.

No, he didn't try to do any of that... maybe he doesn't like me enough to hurl me towards lightning.

Aw, of course we're a bit crazy... that's what's so fun!

Yes, it is a little crazy, but crazy is fun!
I'm so sorry I practically abandoned you all day! I meant to come here first thing this morning, but my computer froze. Then I got caught up reading the new MopFam, and I had some other things to do both on and offline, and yada yada yada. I wound up working up to this part gradually.
I guess my problem with dreams, is where most people say they can have dreams about a certain subject by thinking about it before they fall asleep, I seem to be just the opposite.
*eek* Some freak of nature, perhaps? Anyway, I should know better by now, but I was thinking about him last night. So guess what happened. No recalled dreams, about anything. Maybe I'll try the static thing.
Another thing I was thinking, more on a super-natural levil, do any of you know any of his likes and dislikes? Maybe if we surond ourselves with his favorite things... Last night I was eating a bowl of popcorn, and although I didn't do it on purpose, after I was in bed I noticed I had the bowl still sitting on the table. I didn't want to get out of bed, figuring I could just take care of it in the morning, and I figured hey, maybe it will encourage him.

BTW Sarah, I also love your Father's Day idea! Let us know how it turns out!
