Yeah, that is true. Though it has been a little slow, I'm sure we'll have another big posting outburst again fairly soon.

Well, we've done worse. You see, when I came on, and looked at the 'fans' section, this thread was seen as the most recent. That hasn't happened in a long time; exciting!
Will, I hope you feel better soon, and Erin, I'm glad you are okay, and not much damage was done where you live.

Sometimes working in a library has its advantages. Yesterday I was processing new books to put on the shelves, and what should I come across on the pile but Kevin Clash's autobiography?

I couldn't check it out Saturday, since the shelf date isn't until Tuesday, but I did make sure that it was put on hold for me. And once I get it I'm going to go through and find all the places Richard is mentioned. I did see a couple mentions while flipping through it - Richard passing Elmo on to Kevin, then later Richard joking that Kevin owed him "half an Emmy" when Kevin won his first Emmy award as Elmo, because Richard had been the one to give him the little red menace- er, monster.

There was another book that I processed called Frankenstein Makes a Sandwich. It's all about the problems various famous movie monsters have. Like the Phantom of the Opera. I mean, the poor guy; first he gets "Small World" stuck in his head, then "Pop Goes the Weasel" and then "The Girl from Ipanema"...

Richard probably would have liked it.

Thats great Skeeter Muppet, and funny story about the Emmys.

That movie monster book sounds like a lot of fun.

Yeah, that monster book does sound interesting, and very Richard-like!
Haha, did Richard actually refer to Elmo as "the red menis"?

Ha, half an Emmy. That's awesome, and is going on my list of Richard quotes. I actually have a list...but I'm not obsessed.

Wow. Lots more posts. Thank you. Richard isn't crying anymore.

I had a similar book experience. My mom gave my dad that Kermit the Frog book that just came out, and now I have to wait until 7:00pm tonight to read it. I've already waited two days. But it looked extremely good.
