Hello Amanda! I just had the chance to get caught up on this thread and it's amazing to meet you and see you here. As you can see there are quite a few Richard fans here and it is so wonderful of you to spend time with us, answering questions and being a part of this community. It's just so awesome. Wow. I'm almost speechless. Hope to see more of what you post for us soon!

Thanks again!

I'm with you on that!

And I think we can easily come up with 200 posts...I mean, if a really good RH-related topic comes along we can quickly fill up a page or two in a night.

Chalk it up to itchy fingers syndrome or rabid fans or whatever.

Wow, looks like I've missed all the excitement this weekend! I was staying with friends but I kept thinking, "I wish I could check on RHLC today!"

Thanks for posting, Amanda! It's very generous of you to post all these things. And this thread is always a lot of fun!

I do have a question (I hope no one has asked already, I haven't had a chance to look over all the posts). What was it like watching the various Muppet programs on TV (if you did), knowing you had a relative in the group? Once again, thanks!

Sorry I don't get on often enough to keep up.......

1. Not sure if he ever saw the MB so I can't tell you if he thought of an older Skeeter.

2. Never got the inside on the Beaker voice....sorry! Keep trying!

3. Yes, I have spent time on the Sesame Street set... even did a couple of spots foe SS and 3,2,1 Contatct! Gotta find those videos....

4. Jerry Nelson is a good friend of the family....amazing man in his own right! I've met alot of the other muppeteers, went to a couple of parties at Carol SPinney's house, but Jerry is the only one that I have had any conatct with throughout the years!!

5. Richard's caddy was given to his main doctor... I don't know where it is now!?

6. As a kid I don't really remember 'knowing' that Richard was behind the puppet, I guess I knew but it didn't make it any different!!?

I don't know if I answered everything, but I am trying! I spoke with Grandmother Jane yesterday and she is goining to think of 'richard stories (old & young) for me to relay to you! She s so excited that you are all so interested!!!!! She thinks it is a blessing in disquise that I came across this forum (she was just diagnosised with breast cancer a couple weeks ago) and has felt Richard around in many ways taking care of her and this was another bright spot that has come to her! It is comforting to know that there are other people in the world that love Richard!

Anyway, I promise to get on as often as possble and answer as many questions as possible! I don't mind at all! Just realize I don't get on everyday so it may take me a couple days to reply!:flirt:

Hey, that's okay, Amanda. I know what it's like to be backed up and stuff; I write for and help edit my college paper. Not exactly a walk in the park most days.

Your grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer? Oh, my...tell her that we're thinking of her.

Last week I was watching some behind-the-scenes stuff on YouTube and saw Richard on and I started to get weepy. What a tremendous performer. For those of you who haven't seen it; this is a tribute I did in one of my visuals.

I think it's so cool there's a family member here too!

That's really good, Vic! And that does look rather like him; I'm going to guess that you used the FR documentary as a reference.

Amanda, I agree with Erin, it's ok if you don't get on every day. We love and appreciate that you do answer questions here when you can get on, though! Thank you again for that.

I'm so sorry to hear that Jane was diagnosed with breast cancer, but how wonderful that she's felt Richard around her, taking care of her. Hopefully she'll be able to make a full recovery. And yes, we are definitely thinking of her.

Vic, that tribute is great! Thanks for sharing!

Yes, indeed, your grandmother is in all our thaughts and prayers, and not just because she is a Hunt!
*wink* And it is sweet that she can feel Richard's presence. I have no trouble believing that he is with her now.
On another, lighter note, does anyone think it was a bit over-the-top for Mom to go food shopping last night, and me to have asked her to buy chocolate doughnuts and OJ?

And yes, not only do I think we can make the mark, but I will be very disapointed if we don't!
