(pulls a cord, which sends the bucket of water rigged up over the door some time before pouring down onto the listener)

All right, the meeting will come to order with the Honorable Sara Vines presiding, and yours truly acting as secretary...who wants sorbet? I had a scoop of mango/orange with some coconut ice cream...delish. And what's all that sniffling I hear outside?

Maybe our spy would like some sorbert? (Slips some, sprinkled with rat poison, through "top secret meeting room doggy door").

Dear Lord, MBM, you always were the devious one...but for heaven's sake don't put that stuff where Rizzo and the others can get to it! (leans over and fastens the dead bolt, chain link and police lock on the doggy door, can't be too careful after all)

By the way, Richard's supposed to swing by sometime tonight. I don't know when; he said there was heavy traffic in the celestial spheres between heaven and earth. The thing is, we'll have to be careful about who comes knocking at the door.

By the way, Phantom, the judge just ruled that your lawyer's statements were in contempt of the court. :smirk:

Oh, my goodness! You're right! Poor Rizzo. He'll eat anything. But now that we've fastened the doggy door, I'm going to need to open it again, to retrieve the Rat Poisoned sorbert. (Sheepish grin)

How did you know Phantom was me?! :embarrassed:

Good point, good point. It won't do to have one of us hauled up for murder one, the scandal would be ruinous. Besides...orange sorbet is Richard's favorite! We can't leave that where he'd be in danger of eating it! 'Twould be a tragic day indeed...
I've been having a good chuckle over the Phantom and Jill the Ripper notes...(realizes that someone could be listening) I wonder what kind of crazy, mixed-up people those two are in real life?

And the answer to your question is: chalk it up to my woman's intuition and leave it at that. And keep on posting in this noble thread.

I have no idea. I frankly wouldn't want to know em, they sound a bit insane to me. I think we should just get as far away from them as possible, Muppet Newsgirl. (shifty eyes)

Indeed. In fact, I happen to know that Newsgirl is a genuine first-rate basket case; I think it runs in her family or something. Tsk, tsk.

Oh, and the wire reports are in: she who calls herself Toga is back in the country, and she has issued a formal warning to us.

*Walks in and looks around*

Nope. There's nothing weird at all going on in this thread or in Swaehb. Completely normal! I must say The Phantom and Jill the Ripper did fabulous jobs warning Swaehb, though... as weird as those two may sound. Good thing there's no one weird in this club!

Yup, we're just a bunch of normals. We should recruit some truly crazy people. Maybe we should invite Jill The Ripper, she seemed crazy enough. But let's leave The Phantom out of it. She seemed too dark and gloomy for the likes of this club, and frankly, I didn't like her.

Hey, sometimes dark and gloomy can be an interesting thing! Besides, I think Richard would like her.
