The non-shiny fleece

as alot of you know the antron fleece is a pretty shiny material and the fibers seems to be very glossy. This puppet http://www.scarecroe.com/files/workshop/band2.jpg is quite obviously made of antron fleece. But what about this? http://www.scarecroe.com/files/workshop/band6.jpg
His eyelids and nose is definately made of antron, but his skin is totaly different and looks more like the regular fleece you get in fabric stores.
Kermit for instance normally seems to be made of the non-shiny one, but in some pictures he is shiny again.
And all Rick Lyons puppets, like the avenue q ones, are also non-shiny, yet he describes it as "premium nylon fleece"
Any ideas what this might be?

Sorry if I'm going off topic but those puppets are so nice, Are they from the Jim henson workshop or sesame street workshop or something, they look so good I think they have to be.

I think that's from the Muppet Workshop and they have SS Muppets in the background, but also have the Muppets you see here, used in "It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie."

I could have this wrong...but I do not believe there is much of difference between the two fabrics. I believe any difference in appearance is due to either the treatment the fabric has received or the lighting. Most professional puppets made from antron that I have seen up close tend to have that "shiny" look Torarin described, but the older ones tend not to. I can't fully explain the phenomenon, but I don't believe you are seeing two different types of antron fleece.

Can anyone else weigh in with a more expert opinion? Has Toastcrumbs been seen around here lately? He or rickly would be the best people to ask.
