On this day in 1999 was my botched suicide attempt. (I tried jumping out of a basement window, ha ha). Seriously, I had a bottle of whiskey and sleeping pills, and was going to end it all, but I couldn't. And so glad I didn't. I never would have married my wife, never would have found this site, and would have missed out on knowing Jesus and a billion other blessings.

Glad I stuck around.

What made you became suicidal if I may ask? If you don't feel comfortable explaining it that's totally fine by me.

Now this made me smile.
It actually makes me frown. We waited for two years for this, then Nick decides they don't care anymore, and just dumps it straight to Netflix instead. Jungle Movie gets royally received, Rocko movie gets royally screwed.

Thank God you're still here to share your wisdom the rest of us.

I was actually about to mention, “I’m just waiting to hear Snowth grumble that it’s on Netflix.” 😂

Here’s the honest truth.

Nick had a poor relationship with Rocko just as much as they did with Ren and Stimpy. This is why it’s gotten very little coverage on Teennick’s The 90s are All That/The Splat.

I think it sucks that it’s not getting the recognition it deserves, but personally, I would at least rather get something than nothing at all. End of the day, this is show biz.

It doesn't help that nobody even liked Rocko back in the day either. Seriously. Like with Cow and Chicken, I was just about the only kid in school who liked Rocko growing up - everyone else either thought it was "gross" or "stupid." It's strange how it's become popular afterwards in the 2000s and 2010s, but it's clearly mainly for nostalgia . . . that, and I think people who were kids in the 90s were finally starting to "get" the humor now that they're adults.

Rocko fared better on Nicktoons in the 2000s, though . . . they even broadcasted the banned episodes "Leap Frogs" and "Heff in a Handbasket."

Most of the episodes were still edited, though, from what I remember.

Even as a kid, I personally still loved the show. Maybe it’s just because of my fascination of anathramorphic animals.

Same with DVD as well.

However, I know that infamous milk machine scene is actually still intact on an old compilation VHS, which is kind of odd.
