July 5, 1989 I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Normal blood sugar range is between 80 and 120. I was over1,000. I should've been dead.
30 years of living with this disease, one coma, one stroke,and a botched suicide attempt, I'm still here.
And I'm still smiling. God is good.

@fuzzygobo hoping the best for you! Having had high blood pressure for three years, I know the frustrations of having an illness like diabetes.

Just curious, did you have a mini stroke or a full blown one?

No, it wasfull blown. I was bleeding out of my brain, and that gave me the worst headaches I ever had. It hurt so bad I couldn't see. When I woke up in the hospital, all I could see was shadows. My biggest fear was I was going blind. A few days later I got my sight back, but for a while I was scared shirtless.
I recovered from my stroke, thankfully no paralysis, no slurred speech, so God's healing hand was on me again.
