Hmm? I mean I know that they usually do talk about how great a movie really is on a commercial for a movie. You come to expect it, but I guess I just did pay attention. Oh well. LOL!:zany: Didn't miss out on much.

I don't think I'll see it; it's too soon after the Happy Feet craze for another CGI animated penguin movie for me.

On another subject, it's not just commercials raving about it, there's been articles about it in the papers being given "5 stars", or Ebert and Roper's trademark "2 thumbs up", and like that... so maybe it's a good movie, but still, too soon after Happy Feet for me.

That's exactly what I've been hearing my freinds say... the Happy Feet thing anyway. Hmm... interesting.

I haven't seen Shrek 3 yet (maybe today...) but other than that, the only other CGI animated film I wanna see is Ratatoullie. Surfs up looks very bad to me. It's like Happy Feet and Madagascar, only really obnoxious. Maybe I'll rent it when it comes to DVD, but other than that, i could care less. I did get one of the Happy Meal toys, which I just found left behind. I wouldn't even waste my money on it. Plus, I'm still a bit bitter for not getting Donkey and Gingy....

But honestly, I think Sony should stay the shell out of CGI animation. They're overflooding the market with pretty lousy stuff... almost as bad as the Weinstine company (though TMNT showed how a CGI film is done! But that was with help from Imagi...) Pixar is still the greatest, Dreamworks and Blue Sky are distant seconds. As for Disney, I liked Chicken little, but Dinosaur sucked dino eggs.
