The new CGI movie "Surfs Up

Is it just me or does the surffer chicken in the new CGI movie "Surfs Up" look kinda like TR the Rooster from "The Muppet Musicians Of Bremen"?

Is it just me, or does it seem like this movie was directly, and solely influenced by Happy Feet?

Considering that Happy Feet was released seven months ago, and animated films take about four years to complete... it may be just you. And there are some MAJOR differences.

This movie seems to be acquiring many fans! And apparently they held a voice-acting seminar for the film last summer, with Dave Goelz moderating:

I was skeptical at first. There have just been too make CG pinguine movies out lately. But I've actually heard it's pretty good.

Yeah, that's what all the commercials have been saying. I want verbal conformation first though.

I was trying to say that the Joe Chicken character in "Surf's Up" looks a lot like T. R. The Rooster!

I think he does, yes, except the eyelids.
