I totally agree. I love that episode and I sing "Just a Dream Away" to my sister sometimes when she worries about me going to colledge.I didn't see it as backing away from the issue of death at all. If you listen to Mudwell's song, it's about how in nature things change, rather than just go away ("one day it's an ocean, one day ice in motion, one day it's a tear drop in your eye"). Plus the idea of a resurrection after death has been a constant theme in literature and art for thousands of years.
And personally, I was never taught that when someone dies, "that's it."![]()
