I'm going to have to say when Gonzo sings "I'm going to go back there someday." It makes me cry everytime!

By the way ReoRogerz,

I had the same reaction when Jim Henson died. I had just gotten a diary for Chritmas that year, and my little brother was adopted. I was heartbroken and wrote this long entry about how sad it was and how bad things happen to good people. And it made me even more sad that my little brother wouldn't be able to grow up with the Muppets the same way that I did.

That Mr. Hooper thing is true, too. And everyone else's moments. Who could imagine that Muppets could be so powerful at conveying emotion and making such an impact on people's lives.

I think we should add Mr. Rogers death to the list here. I was sad when I heard the news that he died. I realize that's not a "Muppet moment," but it is a "tear-jerker" which I feel should be added to this list.

When Kermit's at Gunpoint

It's the scene where Kermit's at gunpoint with that guy and asks, "Who are your friends?" and "What are you gonna share?"....

I forget the movie it's from...

It's from The Muppet Movie! I forgot about that part! It is really great.

And then Animal grows really big and scares Hopper and Kermit doesn't get turned into fried frog legs and everyone (eventually, it isn't quite the end of the movie!) lives happily ever after!

That was so cool!!!!!!!!!!! :halo:

anytime gonzo sings....he doesn't sing much in happy times, but he always sings in sad times...it makes me want to cry.

I agree! For a while, I couldn't listen to The Wishing Song without crying!

That part in TMTM in the church when everyone sings together and the camera backs away and shows everyone, that makes me tear up. And sometimes, that part in TMM when the rainbow shines through the roof get to me, too.

Some other songs that sometimes get to me are Rainbow Connection, The Magic Store, I'm Going to Go Back There Someday, Love Led Us Here, One More Sleep Till Christmas.

Also, reading this thread! And the fanfic-y script on this site with Rowlf and Dr. Teeth! And that Bless Us All part of MCC! And... and... geez, this is sadder than I thought.

Saying Good-bye! I forgot Saying Good-bye!

(Actually, I'm not hyper. I'm really tired.)

Crying out for the muppets

:frown: I just couldn't have said it better but all of the things that people are writing about are sad but the saddest thing ever is hearing the news and parents telling me Jims dead. Brought me to tears. Just thanking of that ungreatful day just sends me over the eadge. Oh I wanted to know about Uncleduke. You said you have the video of that part or the show maybe I would love to see it again its been years since I've seen it and I would love to see it.:frown: Oh and heres my email muppetkyle@msn.com

There are a few but I don't remember that many but one tear jerking moment would be at the end of "the muppets celebrate Jim Henson" where the muppets learn of his death & the letters of support Kermit & his friends got from the fans.
