*Gets the jar of Su-San coffee out of the cupboard*

OK, there's no need to shout!

We had to abondon that test because we found that the marbles were fawlty and only rolled down hill and didn't travel up vertical surfaces, so it's back to the drawing board again!

How are you doing in your endevours to get the little blue and green twists inside the marbles?

I can't seem to find the ones I was working on. In fact, you might say I've misplaced my glass gaming spheres...

Misplaced your glass gaming spheres....gosh, that sounds a little rude dosn't it? *looks at Susan the secretary* Well, dosn't it?

Ok. You win.

*Susan leaves again*

Thanks for the coffee, Harvey.

We are still having trouble with the twiddly-twisty-twirly bits becaue no one can agree on color choice. I wa going to say go with the aqua-blue, but another board member voted turquise which puts us in a bit of a sticky spot. What say you on the subject?

*looks at twins*

Not you. You don't say anything on any subject, you are babys. Remeber.

I would always say blue or at least blueish even bordering on some sort of bluey colour... but that's not really my department Mr Moppet.

Hmmm, I bet your babies have a favourite colour - if only there was some way that we could find out what it was?

Why are they here with you anyway?

Well, er, um, well. *cough* Let's not ask them. They arn't exactly artistic are they? *weak smile*

I'd ask Mother, she always seemed to know, but Mother is away looking after her Gran....

So, if you say bluish, and I say Aqua-blue, and they say turquise...I'd say let's go with green. How about that?

In your department, have you concidered making them square?

Square marbles? What do you think they are two-dimensional shapes or something?

What we really want to know is should they bounce when you drop them?

*thinking*

Square...two dimenionel...or *weak laughter* I was moer thinking Cubicle Marbles.

But, shoud they bounce? Good questian. I can only imagine they would need to bounce especially if someone were playing marbles on a trampoline.

*Calls Moppet Household.

*Leaves message on answering machine.
Hello, this is Uncle Adam. Sorry I haven't made myself available lately. Been working on a few papers and exams here at Magic School and I've been with Grandma on the weekends. Christy is there now relieving me for a while. We're not sure what's wrong with her at the moment, but we hope she'll be fine.
If you guys need me, just leave a message at my home phone and hope you have a good day.

Marbles on a trampoline - who in there right mind plays marbles on a tramplonine? But then since when have those in their right mind been our target group?

Maybe we should do some market research and see what people want from marbles.

*Goes over to the babies*

How about you two you lovely little kids. Has your daddy brought you marbles home? I bet he has - he leaves trails of stationary behind him most days.
