*... Narration.
Adam knew that his family would be waking soon, as his latest charm undid itself in the wee hours of the night. Fog rolled across the ocean's floor blanketing everything within its grip, as the phantom vessel sailed closer to Hebbage's pirate ship. Sleepy and keeping a tired watch, the pirates were unaware of the oncoming marauders.
When both ships were close enough to each other, a bond between them was secured. This would make moving from one to the other much easier, as Adam didn't want to have anyone fall overboard into the cold waters below. All in the party held hands, and the non-magic types and Coles soon found themselves upon the deck of the pirate ship. The triplets found the twins quickly, tied and confined inside a cell in the brig down below. After alerting their father, they worked quietly to free the twins, instructing them as to what to do in the coming battle. Isabelle, in cat form, crept along the ship's halls until she found the cabin housing both Mingostone and Hebbage. Luckily, Mingostone was alone with the walls of this room. Mrs. Cole convinced the nanny to return to the relative normacy of the Moppet household. Mingostone wouldn't leave until she was assured that Hebbage would be all right, and he would still come to see her every once in a while. After this conversation both Coles met together again at the entrance of the lower decks.
The Cole family knew the battle would soon begin, as the pirates realized there was an unknown presence aboard their ship. Swords were drawn and the fight started, the Coles fighting only to defend themselves and their loved ones. As they inched ever closer back to the spot where they first appeared on the pirate ship, Adam knew a confrontation with Hebbage was inevitable. The two leaders met soon enough in a seafaring showdown. Adam used the darkness and non-visibility afforded by the shrouds surrounding the ship to his advantage, dodging Hebbage's attacks. Finally, Adam used his mastery of magic to cast one last spell on the old pirate captain, making good on his promise to end the fight without harming him and upseting Mingostone in the process. This spell had two distinct effects: it would prevent Hebbage from interfering in the lives of all members of the Moppet clan and putting their lives in any ensuing danger, much like this reckless kidnapping; and it would give him the freedom every pirate yearns for. Yes, he would still set sail upon the ocean's majesty, though part of him would yearn to return to the calm of the Moppets' home town. And then after a visit, he'd start aching to heed the ocean's aluring charms once again. This would make everyone happy Adam thought, since Mingostone and Hebbage would be together even if for brief spans of time.
After all this was done, Adam and the rest of the clan immediately transported themselves back onto the ghost ship and set sail back home. Spotting Bo in his motorboat, Adam pushed a button opening his ship's yawning mouth. The paddleboats were swallowed within the gaping void of the phantom vessel. Once inside, Adam greeted Bo and Jack and Mrs. Jones onboard. Reunited here on the Cole family freighter, they started the long journey back to their home town safe and sound.
